This morning, I looked closely at my front teeth and I noticed that the small holes that I had for many years are now bigger !! I kind of freaked out at first then I suddenly had this insight that it was from acidity. I realized that I don't brush my teeth after every juice and I recall Angela Stokes saying that it's very important to brush them several times a day ! Houps ! I started to brush them now after every juice. Let's see how it goes...Did you noticed anything with teeth and acidity ?
it might be genetic, too much brushing (my sister has OCD and has the same problem) or it might just be a way for the dentist to try and get me in for expensive surgery. they take skin from the roof of the mouth to rebuild the gums! not very pleasant i'm sure!
I have both heard and read that you should wait up to 30 mins after citrus before brushing teeth (could be 15 mins?), otherwise the brushing has some detrimental acidic effect on the enamel from the citrus (you may wish to google this ... have read it on some raw forums too). I rinse teeth (immediately after citrus / fruit) really well with water instead.
Many people here in the U.K. are concerned and trying to avoid fluoride (if you are not, then suggest that you search the internet for tons of info on the detrimental effects of fluoride on teeth and your health in general. Be very wary of believing that it is ok because the dentists, water supply authorities etc say so. The holes might be from fluoride in your water / toothpast e/ dental floss / mouthwash etc ... if you are not avoiding fluoride).
im noticing that my teeth are not so pearly white anymore---
more worrying though is that theyre taking on a sort of mottled effect, &im not sure whats causing it.
it was a bit embarrassing, i was having juice with a friend and she mentioned,
"have you noticed youre getting patterns on your teeth?"
and wondered if it might be some kind of mineral deficiency...?
ive also had a sensitivity in two of my back teeth for months now,
since soon after going raw/stopping flouride.
i use dr bronners now... i was hoping the juice feasting might clear that up for me but so far, no cigar.
thats what ive been hoping for. my dentist said there were no cavities, but that it could turn into one. ive never had a cavity in my life and im not eager to start now! heres hoping they get better.
It might be better to brush your teeth either before your juice or an hour after drinking. Brushing before helps protect the teeth, and an hour after lets the mouth get back down to it's normal ph level. otherwise the acid is on the teeth and you are helping the acid break down the enamel by brushing them straight after a juice.

David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
