Juice Recipes
Hey everyone, I noticed that raw foods recipes are dime a dozen on the net, but juice recipes, especially juice feasting recipes are pretty rare. So I thought it would help of we started a thread of combos/recipes to use for the feast.
My favorite so far is Celery/Spinach/Parsley/Cucumber/Pear. This combo is particularly cleansing and helps if your GIT is a little backed up since pear juice is a mild laxative. It's also delish! The spinach and one whole cucumber make up the bulk in my mix, and one pear is enough to add a nice sweet flavor. Then 3 sticks of organic celery (I use leaves, bases and all) and 4 sprigs of parsley for the rest.

Green Juice Recipe:
Cucumber
Celery
Apple
Greens (spinach, romaine, leaf lettuce, sprouts, chard, bok choy, beet greens, etc, whatever I have on hand)
Fruit Juice Recipe:
Apple
Cucumber
Carrot
Pineapple
Melon Juice:
Juiced melon, including rind, taken alone

If you have access to an asian market that sells produce you might try juicing bitter melon and apple juice. I learned about it about four years ago. My twin sister was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but I had no symptoms. I had been eating mainly an asian diet because I had Chinese friends who owned a restuarant and cooked traditional dishes. I was reading a juicing book one day and found out that bitter melon was a natural remedy for diabetes. check out this website. WOW - I just made the yummiest juice!
3 apples
1 red pepper
1 pineapple
6 carrots
1 tsp flax oil
Made about 1 quart of juice that tastes amazingly like a mild SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE. Ooh la!

Here's an interesting one. I just put everything in the fridge together:
parsley/celery/zuchini/radish/sweet potato/collard/cucumber. Its delish!

This is cRAZY! But today I juiced DANDELION, ROMAINE LETTUCE and added it to my MAPLE WATER and I couldn't believe this- it tastes like CHOCOLATE MILK! WOW!!!! unless I'm just totally losing it...LOL! xo

I'm drinking a delicious one right now green, yet subtle...
1/2 hd. celery
1/2 cucumber
1/2 bu. mint
1/2 bu. parsley
1/2 bu. spinach
1/2 bu. dino kale
6 red romaine leaves
2 bok choy leaves
1 hosui asian pear
1 d'anjou pear
handful of broccoli sprouts
1/2 meyer lemon (peeled)
blended in Vitamix, strained through a nut milk bag. It made just under 2 1/2 quarts.
I love juice :)
