I'm still a little vague, even after a year, on what alkalinity and acidity really means in terms of our health. I gather that being in an alkaline state is good and being in an acidic state is bad, but I don't really understand why, or what the signs of being in either direction are.
I am no expert and I am sure someone with more knowledge will chime in but from what I have the main benefit of keeping yourself as alkaline as possible is that cancer can not grow in an alkaline environment.
I know there are some kind of ph strips that test on your tongue to see what state your body is in. I saw them at a Whole Foods wellness fair but the line was too long to try them out.
The forerunner in the alkalinity field is Dr Robert O Young. His website is www.phmiracle.com. I have one of his books and feel he has a lot to contribute towards us understanding our health. You can sign up on his website for a free newsletter which may be worth your while.

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
