Global Juice Feast

I wanted some advice on why I am not having bowel movements and how to speed up the process. I am currently on Day 10, started enemas on day 3 morning. I have not had solid BM since the first morning. I began taking Cascara Sagrada and CandiZyme before going to bed on day 7, but really haven't noticed much change.
I have been starting the morning with 1Liter water with MSM and lemon, enema, skin brushing, shower. I have been drinking 2Liters Green juice and 2 liters other juice along with water during the day. E3 Live and green superfood too.
I do get some gurgling and gas. Most of the time it is green juice in, basically green juice out the other end - with the help of an enema.

I am feeling fine, just not seeing the results that I was expecting.
Thinking of trying the bentonite/psyllium in the AM as well. Not sure what I am missing. Also... should the enemas always be coffee? or just water?
Also, I should add that I am usually very regular at 2-4 times/day when eating raw foods - so being at zero for over a week is very strange!

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I hardly had any solid bowel movements for the time I did enemas so this sounds normal to me. It'll happen if/when its supposed to. : )

Here's where to find some answers : as far as the coffee/water switch over - see juicefeasting.com for when and how to do a coffee enema (scroll down under the "Juicefeasting intro" heading to the Juicefeasting timeline - 4th from the bottom for the timing), and also on day3 there is a video on the topic "elimination aids" and advise on Cascara Sagrada - which should be used if you have solid bowel movements, it softens the stool.

I'm on day 59 of my first juice feast. My bowel elimination experience has been somewhat similar to yours. I was also quite regular on raw vegan foods - plenty of fiber from green smoothies and flax crackers!

For various reasons, doing my own enemas is not really feasible. I used Cascara sagrada during the first couple of weeks of my juice feast. This had variable results. I figured it was eliminating what needed to be eliminated. I also used some liquid bentonite, but that seemed to slow things down.

When I bought bee pollen granules, I discovered that they tend to stimulate my bowels, especially if I overeat them! I don't suggest this as a "strategy," just an observation.

I've had some colon hydrotherapy treatments, which have been very helpful. My colon hydrotherapist expressed concern about bentonite use by someone like me with a sluggish colon. (She has had several clients who became quite "backed up" with bentonite.) She also recommended using a "digestive stimulator" that is a blend of several herbal ingredients rather than just one or two. Blessed Herbs makes one, which I am currently using. It's been gentler on me than Cascara sagrada, but I still don't get daily results. (You have to keep experimenting with how many capsules you need.) Oh well. I decided that obsessing about it would probably just make things worse. At this point, my abdomen has flattened considerably and I feel much "cleaner" inside, so I'm satisfied.

I hope you'll find an approach that will work for you!

I resonate with what Constanze said -- sounds normal to me! I would eliminate with enemas during the first couple of weeks...and nothing more. Once my body got used to the liquid diet - 3 weeks in or so, I did start having BMs a couple times a day at times...at times once every 2 days....now that I'm done my 108 day feast, and am on a 100% raw vegan diet, I eliminate usually between 2 and 4 times a day! Good luck! I wouldn't rush into the psyllium/bentonite option!
