I have a dinner party that I need to be at this evening and hate to sit there for 2 hours and not eat. Well, it wouldn't bother me but I am sure it would upset other people and make them uncomfortable. - Including the fact that I probabIy cannot go if I am not eating as table reservations are booked months in advance. I can eat mostly raw vegan (99% = my regular diet) where we are going but the chef is not too keen on me bringing juice in.
My question is simple, would I make it though dinner without being ill and what will be the effects of this detour? I would definitely be taking digestive enzymes and taking it light on the food.
Please help.
Thanks!!
You know Amy...I had many situations like this...and I found that people/other table sitters were most encouraging of my juice drinking (even in high-end restaurants) -- just let the chef know that this was a sudden health option given to you, by doctors (if necessary), and since the reservations had been months in advance, you didn't want to forgo the opportunity -- and reassure them that you will be back in eating form again soon, whereupon you'll return to delve into their culinary delights! EASY. You might regret it otherwise. 2 weeks in is not very long to have a firm foundation in juice feasting ( I mean such a decision early on could throw your ability to get back on track!)
Especially if you can get raw vegan options you definitely won't get ill from eating some solid food. One thing that I have heard David Rainocheck mention many times though is that nuts - even nut milk - will completely halt the detox /cleansing process.

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
