Global Juice Feast

It seems like the last few days my brain has been wispering that it would be okay to quit and go to an all raw diet... thankfully it only happens in the evening and in the morning I change my mind and keep going. It's just that it's annoying! Tomorrow is day 10 for me and I feel great so far... I made a very bad tasting green juice today and didn't really like the fruit juice I made either so that may have something to do with it. Any encouragement or ideas would be very much appreciated at this point.

Thanks
Micki

I can't say for sure other than try a recipe you truly loved or have seen and haven't tried!!??!!!
I feel great too, until right after my last green drink in the eve on day 3 & 4...I'm only on day 6 today...going for my first colonic in hr and half...
I guess it all depends what you want to get out of the juice feast...if you're feeling good and released weight and toxins and are hungry then maybe you should listen to your body...or go modified and not feel shame...then go back full fledge in March...
I'm going to go as far as I can this initial time...then plan on making it the whole trip in March! At least that's my plan as of today ";-)...
I made food for my hubby this morning...no problem so far...but watching him chew last nite was daunting and tempting...I had to have my bee pollen at night...it's the only way it gets me through so far.
hang in there, you're doing fab...10 days..pat yourself on the behind!

Micki-

Please don't quit. Detoxing is a process. Some days you will feel better than most. You might want to try simple juice combos like spinach and pineapple (my favorite so far) or parsely, pear, apple juice. I will be on Day 20 of my feast tomorrow and I know exactly how you feel. Feel free to drop me a line. I will keep you on the straight and narrow! LOL

Thanks you guys for the input! I feel much better today and plan to keep going yea! I had a heart to heart with my self last night and realized that it wasn't hunger that was motivating me just bordum and I have been reading alot of raw food books and everything sounds so good right now that I think it was having an effect on me so no reading cook books for awhile... also I did too much physical activity ie. and hour of pilates and then shoveled the drive way for an hour so that made me weak in the afternoon and I had the chills for an hour in the early evening after going out... it is waaaaayyyyy cold here and I just couldn't get warm. The cyanne pepper in the master cleanse is making me feel a bunch better and the brake from making juice is helping too plus just the different flavor soooooooooo to make a long story longer I think when I begin to feel like quitting I will do the master cleanse for a day and that will work! Well until it doesn't anyway lol

Thanks again
Micki

hey, wanna shovel my driveway tomorrow....haaaa....we're due for a snowstorm here! So plan on being indoors, meditating, yoga, reading, playing with dogs...oh, alright, some laundry...cooked a few things for my hubby so I'm covered!
Interesting...I've been making some pretty hardcore green drinks with so much in 'em I, too, am going to go back to some of the easy basic tastey ones - I love the spinach pineapple one too...the pear is awesome!
I'm going to try some berry ones tomorrow and watermelon.

I pulled out my Green For Life of Victoria's...and ya know, she adds water to hers...do all of you do that?
I've been only adding water to the fruit juices to dilute - and forgot to do that to the greens....so pretty strong....I think I'm gonna start adding in the water on the green juices from here on out to cut it and stretch 'em no less!

Would love to know what you're all doing.....nighty nite

Well I'm on day 12 and I'm still here... thought I was going to quit again last night sheesh! I think it has something to do with the evenings and being tired... my husband is being so supportive though and is helping me stay focused so I'm still here today... it seems like I have a good day and then a bad day but it's not about being hungry it's more in my head although I think that was part of the problem yesterday I didn't make enough juice only about 2 quarts... so today I made a bunch and we'll see if that helps. I've lost 12 lbs so that is a big incentive and the fact that my son is getting married in May... those pictures I will have to look at the rest of my life!!! lol I'm down to 147 lbs and I haven't seen that in a long time so yea!

Micki- Make sure you are drinking the requisite 4 quarts and more if you are still doing all that exercise! LOL You will feel a whole lot better. I am glad you are still hanging in there.

Are you a Summer Juice Feaster? The produce is perfect right now! Local organic is readily available! Things are greening, plumping, and ripening up. The Hot/Cool Shower (Contrast Shower) and working up sweats for cleansing is easier in summer!

If you want to grind grains, I suggest you get the extra container that does this. You could end up burning out your motor if you use the regular container to grind grains. Debra M

I'm just about to purchase a vita mix and I'm not sure if I need a dry bladecontainer to grind grains or if a wet one will do the job. Thanks! Van Nessa
