Hi,
would anyone like to join me in undertaking the global juice feast in March 2009? I am preparing now so that we can form a support network and get to know each other in advance of the Juice Feast!
I am going to write a blog throughout the 92 days and would welcome the opportunity to connect with others who are doing it in the UK and worldwide. I would also like to offer my support to anyone who would like it and would love to have a buddy for the duration of this fantastic experience. Please get in touch if you would like to join me, would like support or want to become my buddy. Love, light & Blessings
Good Morning! It's is 0530 on the West coast of the US. I live in Washington state, about 35 miles north of Seattle and 120 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I'm in with you for the feast this year. It will be exceptionally challenging as I work in a technical high school preparing kids for a career and I'm in the Culinary Arts Department! Luckily I am not the chef (I don't even have a stove in my house), but I do help them run a snack bar and a 5 star restaurant.
Been drinking green smoothies for a couple of years and I have been asked to put them in a stainless bottle so one secretary cannot see what I am drinking because it is "too gross". So that gives you a bit of what I am up against. I have not mentioned what I am planning to anyone but my husband who is very supportive and very much on the raw wagon.
Just to get me in the habit I have been juicing every morning for the last week just to start a morning routine. Even with eating my regular vegan fare at night I know I am already detoxing as I am so very tired. I nap at lunch in my car and again when I get home around 3 in the afternoon. Then I'm ready for bed by 8!
My only concern is the aromas I will have to contend with at school.
Hi Shari,
thanks for getting in touch and joining the group - I am so sorry it has taken me so long to get in touch with you I have been launching various aspects of my new business www.theconsciouslivingpractitioner.com and that has taken up a great deal of my time. :)
My first comment is in response to your statement 'it will be very challengeing' if you keep saying that I believe that is the experience you will have! If you can find a way to rephrase how it is going to be then I think that would really help you and I just know from experience that you will present a different energy to the world and therefore receive different feedback.
I am sharing a preparation sheet with anyone from this group who wants to receive it and this will help put things in perspective if you take the time to complete it. It will be available at the latest tomorrow morning and I am just working out where to post it. I think it will help you identify the ways that you might unconsciously be making the juice feast more difficult for yourself.... If you would like a copy of this document please do let me know.
I look forward to sharing this experience with you. Love, light & Blessings Michele (Snedden)xxx
Thanks Michele! I would love a preparation sheet. Anything to help me along.
And yes, I agree. I will change my words. One of my favorite books is "Hidden Language Codes". Maybe better dig it out!
Something on a similar but different vein. The people at work are really pushing the envelope between joking and harassment when it comes to what I am drinking. I have not mentioned one word about feasting. They still think I'm drinking green smoothies and sampling the food in the kitchen. What I have to contend with in the staff room has driven me to drink anything green out back by the dumpsters and I spend my lunch in my car. The thoughts rolling around in my head are "I'll show them, I'll feast for 92 days just to prove to them I can do something they can't........." Weird thoughts like that. Destructive? Empowering? What are your thoughts?
I've just briefly looked at your website and am very intrigued. Friday is a day off and I will be delving into things more deeply.
Hi Michele,
I would love a feasting buddy. I am doing a pre-cleanse right now planning to begin in March. I've fasted in the past the longest for 14 days but always alone. I was so excited to find this site and am hoping with some cyber moral support from fellow feasters I will be able to go even longer this time. I'm worried about going for the full 92 days but would love to accomplish it.

Hi Berry Blue Toes - thank you for responding to the discussion and hello! Firstly, I would like to invite you to let go of 'worrying about going for the full 92 days' - and change your thoughts to something like 'I am really looking forward to the juice feast journey' which has a very different energy about it - not sure if you are familiar with the law of attraction - positive energy helps to attract more of the same... as I said to Patricia - it is really important to identify WHY you are embarking on the Juice feast before commiting to it and acknowledging how it will benefit you. If you can recognise your true reasons for doing it you are more likely to commit to the full program. It is also perfectly fine to take each day at a time and listen to what is right for you in the moment. I have created a sheet of questions that I use for myself and with my clients to help them identify why they are doing something. I will share it with the buddy group that respond to my discussion during the week prior to starting the juice feast. If you would like to receive it too please let me know and I will email it to you. Blessings Michele (Snedden) x
Hi Michele,
You are so right - I am really looking forward to my feasting journey and am becoming more and more excited as it draws closer. I have the book "Excuse me your life is waiting" - perhaps time for a re-read :) And yes, please email me - I have been trying to define exactly what in me is drawn to accomplishing this and I think a list would really help me to clarify my reasoning. I'm also thinking of creating a treasure map before I begin so I will have a visual reminder of my goals as well - I've found in the past this has helped me keep going on more difficult days.
Hi Michele, This is going to be an exciting time & experence for us all !! The support of everyone is sooo important. I have done 14 days in Jan. of JF & I'm looking forward to the 92 day starting Mar. Love to all Cheryl
Hi Cheryl,
good to hear from you - yes it will be an exciting time and experience for us all! I too am looking forward to the 92 day experience having completed 18 days and several 10 day experiences over the past couple of years. The support of this community will make a huge difference to everyone and will certainly provide an arena to share the experience and learn about other people, even make life time friends :) Wish you well on your journey. Love, light & blessings Michele xxx
Hi-
I'll be joining over here in the United States - Colorado specifically. I'm a student here at the University of Colorado-Boulder. I have mingled with juice feasting before and would like to join a group for support. I am worried however I will not be able to participate properly because i live in a dorm room! I only have a blender and was wondering if it is absolutely 100% necessary to get more supplies? If so, what? I need some help and would love some ideas/opinions. Also, do you think i should do the master cleanse first?? That might be too tough for me considering my surrondings. I also don't think the master cleanse will supply me with enough energy. Well, anyways if you have any opinions let me know and I would love to have that push of a support system!
thank you for getting in touch - welcome! When you did your juice feasting before how long did you do it for? Did you use your blender before? I know that David and Katrina have used a blender and then squeezed the contents through a nut milk bag which is perfectly possible. If you don't have a nut milk bag perhaps that is one thing you could invest in which wouldn't cost you a great deal. It is not necessary to do the master cleanse at all - that is something I have chosen to do because it is right for me at this time. What is important I believe is to prepare yourself physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually for undertaking the juice feast - identifying why you are doing it, and the benefits of doing it... In view of the fact that you are living in a dorm room - don't let that be a barrier to good health :) I was living in a single dorm room myself only 2 years ago and I juiced in my room and then had to rinse my juicer in a tiny sink in my shower room. The important thing I believe is to get yourself in the right mind set and WANT to do the juice feast, align yourself as you have with others who can support you and get organised ahead of time. I am more than happy to support you and I know there are many amazing people on this group who will also be of equal support. love, light & blessings Michele (Snedden)xxx :)

hi michelle,
thanks for starting this group, & I'd love to join you guys for mutual support for the 92 days. Reading everyone's posts & your replies has re-inspired me again. I've been experimenting with the JF for the last few weeks, but have managed to only stay on it for 5 consecutive days at a time, & then I'd binge on solid fruits or even cooked food.
Hopefully with the group energy of all of us doing it together we can keep each other strong even in the times of cravings & unconscious food choices!
love & light to all

I will not share your email with anyone else. Love, light & Blessings Michele (Snedden) :) x
