my juicer is broken!!!

I am gutted. Yesterday morning I got up early and started juicing a large bunch of grapes, but there was this pinging sound coming from the motor then it sounded like something snapped and flew off inside so I quickly turned it off. I will have to send it away to get fixed. So thats me out for now but I am going to look for a powerful blender on the weekend and try again. Best wishes everyone and happy juicing!

Hi Angela,
Well, congratulations! This is a typical trial on a Juice Feast. My Juiceman juicer of many, many years went during the 2008 Global Juice Feast, but in came a better centrifugal juicer for my fruit juices - a Breville Juice Fountain.
For the long term, do consider getting a high-speed blender (either a Vitamix or a K-Tec). It is the most essential kitchen appliance for enjoying a Raw/Live Plant-based cuisine.
Good luck finding a blender.
Oh, and last thing. Trials happen in part to test your determination. Don't let a broken appliance dissuade you. Make Master Cleanser, squeeze oranges, borrow your neighbor's Osterizer blender - do what you need to do to continue. This is important for building solidity, and seeing to it that your own internal reality determines to a greater extent what you do than anything going on externally (such as broken appliances, etc).
