Today I entered my food tally into the calculators at nutritiondata.com. Overall I was pleased - but REALLY puzzled about some negative numbers that showed up. Here is an example:
Vitamins
Vitamin E is a minus 90%
Vitamin K is a minus 5050%!
Folate is a minus 250%
Some other items that came up in the minus range were selenium, manganese and omega 3 fatty acids.
I'm not concerned about the omega 3's - because I will take my T. of hemp seed oil - and was unable to track that on the site.
The odd thing is that initially, there were no negative numbers. Then I remembered I had not added 3 lemons to my tracking data. After I added them in - many numbers turned negative.
Could someone explain what is going on? It is a little disturbing - though I'm sure there is a good explanation for it.
I just double checked - and sure enough - it is adding in the lemons that throws several numbers into the negative zone. I tried recalculating it using the entry lemon without the peel and it was better, but the omega 3's still came up negative.
So - when I juice a lemon - should I take the peel off?
Also - what is the best raw source for selenium and zinc? Really these entries were not bad - zinc was at 67% and selenium was at 32%.

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
