Global Juice Feast

Hello Everyone! I'm delighted to back with you all for another amazing Juice Feasting experience. I completed the 92 day Global Juice Feast last year and now I'm back again, this time for a shorter feast, probably about 30 days or so. I'm just curious who is also juicing right now. I started March 1st, but since today is the official kick off date for 2009's Global Juice Feast, I'd love to take a roll call of who you are, when you started and how long you're thinking of feasting. I am looking for support and would love to offer the same.

Cheers to an amazing experience!

I think I might keep that in my back pocket just in case.
Do you think leaving out any part of the protocol ie: enemasor intesinal drawing formula erc. could have a negative effect? I don't do all of that.
Not consistently at least.

I think it can be as simple as timing. I've done a number of juice fasts in years past and couldn't imagining doing 92 days, but then last year, I did it. I tried to start juice feasting at the beginning of this year (Jan 1st) and I just wasn't feeling it then. Probably because it was freezing outside. I hope to go 30 days this time.....so far so good!

I think another helpful hint is simply to take it a day at a time. That's really all we have is today.

Hello fellow feasters!!! :o) I started on 2/16 and i no longer know what day i'm on... i quit counting because it was driving me crazy. signing into my blog every day and writing about that day was also driving me crazy. i'm not sure why - thats not typical for me to be so sensitive to things like that - maybe because i didnt like the feeling of having a job to do...counting/writing(tough stuff!! :)).... that just sounds crazy i know, but i feel so much lighter just knowing that I'm juicing everyday and thats all i need to know. I'll stop when i feel its time and count at that time. i just keep a journal in my purse and write when i feel like i have something to say. :o) maybe i'll stop when the 92 day feasters that started on 3/7 stop. but til then....Happy Feasting!!! this will be fun!! patricia :o)

oh this is so cool (and it doesn't sound crazy, it sounds wonderful to hear you write "i feel so much lighter just knowing that I'm juicing everyday and thats all i need to know"..... it is clear to me that you've left time and space (grin) and are now floating in a gravity-free zone of pure bliss ..... good on you, mate!
..
when i looked back at why I've stopped feasting at the 28-day mark in two past feasts, i think this idea of needing to be accountable in a blog or count the days is a part of that .... so i will follow your lead and just focus on ENJOYING each now moment and being fully present, feeling the JOY of it, and not focus on any counting process. i love that!

Hi Penny I am Swan and I just started the 92 day juice feast today. I am having a green smoothie now. With green juices I realize that my stomach is not strong enough for all the potent enzymes so I have to end up diluting them. UGH... Its tasting better the more I drink it, I mean I am getting accustomed to the taste of green callaloo or amarath in my juice. Anyway, I am rambling. I guess I am just excited.

Today, it is my 15th day, and it is getting easier. I started on Feb. 26th. I did not feel very fine the first few days.....the first time I drank green juice with kale and some apple, and pear...well, I barfed part of it up. UCK! So, my body now loves this green juice, no fruit in it anymore. I drink it straight. Yum. I did not think I would ever like it.
I am trying to heal my Thyroid from Hashimotos. I already have noticed more energy, and my joints feel great.
'Bye for now, Mary

Hello Penni and everyone,
Will be with you all for this '09 feast. Yesterday was my Day ONE. I did a cleanse and moved (once again) to an all raw diet in January. I fasted appx. 10 days and was all raw for over 5 weeks, but then we vacationed with family in FL and I had some slips and since returning have been back into some old food patterns. Always on again, off again. sigh.... A pattern I hope to break during this feast. My plan is to do the complete fast. I feel committed, but also want to honor the body and will just take it as far as seems to make good healthy sense. I'm wishing everyone Happy Healing and many beautiful days of feasting. Cheers and LOVE.

Well Now I am on Day 9 Wow all the time without eating anything. I never ever thought I could go that long. But It is really easy to do. You get hungry and you drink so more juice. I really like the light feeling it leaves you with too. Now that is way better then eating a big meal then falling asleep on your Couch. Plus I am so full of energy now. I got in an 1 1/2 Hours of exercise today. It felt really good too. I am seeing good things starting to happen now too. Doug in Calif.....

Hi Everyone, Today is day six for me and it is my first weekend on the JF. I'm a little nervous because my husband and I have a ritual of certain weekend foods that he will be having but I will not. I'm feeling okay for now, but it's still early in the day. I'm feeling that I won't cave, because the benefits I'm seeing are so profound and I am completely committed but I guess I'm afraid of feeling deprived. Which is really just an illusion anyway and I'm sure it will pass. How can I be deprived with all of the wonderful positive changes in my beautiful body? his is going to change my life forever in such a positive way! I am deleting my caffeine addiction, healing my back, losing weight, feeling lighter, more energized, my thinking crystal clear, pushing my youth button and more. I think that I will focus on all this good stuff while he's gorging . . . lol! Thank you all for being here - I love you!
