According to Dr. Bernard Jensen, some foods are found to be dis-ease specific. That means if I have diabetes, and I am using raw foods to heal, I might get cravings for cucumber. I am writing this to get some input. Boy, I am so glad to have found juice feasting via
www.naturalhealth.com. I started to feast on Feb. 26th, and am doing this to heal Hashimoto's which is a form of hypothyroidism. Well, I LOVE IT. Thank you David for getting the attention of the world. I live in Germany. And my husband joined me 2 days ago because he just got a diagnosis of Leukemia. I am devastated, but he is rather cool about it. Then again I have a B.S. in Nursing and worked for years on an oncology unit with isolation rooms. We got the leukemia patients, and now the doc is pressuring Hermann, my husband, to do the usual chem routine. I am appalled. Hermann started the juice feast 2 days ago, and like me, loves it. We are wondering which vegies are the best here. I know carrots detox, and beets for liver. I read on the net, which scared me a bit, that feasting/fasting for leukemia patients is a no-no because of not being able to get all the dirt off plants, and with a suppressed immune system, one could get sicker. SO far, Hermann has no or very little symptoms. AND check this out, we fasted back in 2003 for 6 weeks to heal his then stage 4 male breast cancer. All the docs gave him up cause Hermann would not do their therapy. He is still alive and THAT cancer has gone bye-bye. So I know that this stuff works. I would be so grateful for any input, which I do not take as advice, any views that are aired are not to be construed as medical advice. I know the AMA jumps on any claims of healing. I believe that each person must take responsibility for their own healing. I I would be most grateful for any constructive help..
