Global Juice Feast

Hello fellow Juice Feasting friends :)

I wanted to ask you, who is on a Juice Feast at the moment?
I feel a little bit lonely and would be so grateful and happy to have some support. :)
I think we should motivate each other - what do you think?

I send love to all,

Violet

Hi there!! Welcome to the forum.

I'm on day 7 of a 100 day juice feast. My husband and I are doing it at the same time, and plan to go right through the holidays. How long are you planning to go?

Cheers,
Sheryl

Hi Sheryl,

thanks for the answer.

I'm on day 3 and I'd like to do 92 days, but I'm not dissappointed when I don't feast so long. I think that at least 30 days would be GREAT !! (I'm not overweight, however it would be great to lose some pounds/kilogrammes, the most important thing for me is: gaining radiant health, learning to appreciate food and enjoying my meals and stopping binge eating. I'll make a list of goals and put it on my blog, I think.)

Even 10 days are amazing, I think. :)
Anyway, want to take it day by day... ^^

Do you have a blog? How much juice do you drink a day? And how much of it is GVJ and how much of it is fruit?

Have a great day,
Violet

Hi,
I'm doing 4L a day every day. Usually I do 2 heavy greens, 1 half greens/half fruit and one alternate one (like my savory one today which is sweet potato and celery with garlic, cayenne and lemon). No blog yet... I'm journalling on my computer and will share sometime soon

They say naturally you gravitate to less fruit as you go. I think that's true for me. The two juices I have enjoyed the least were yummy, and all fruit, but I didn't enjoy drinking them. Next week we are getting more watery things like cucumber.

Day 4 for you today - how is it going?

Thanks for asking!
Sheryl

Hello Sheryl,

thanks for your tip on adding cirtus to the greens - it helps a l lot :)
I've had some all vegetable/greens juices by now which tasted really good. I'm running out of produce constantly which is a little uncomfortable. I'm a student and I always go with a huge bag and my backpack to the health food store/grocery store and I take as much as possible with me... and it's gone in no time!! :)
I had 1 litre of coconut water which was soooo delicious *smile* (put in some crystal manna and spirulina into 1 cup of coconut water and it turned into a wonderful blue-green-smaragd :) and adding lemon to coconut is just one of the best things I've had so far in my life!! ^^
I also REALLY love melon juice!! (with vanilla it's like having a milk shake!)

It's day 5 today - and it goes so easily, it's kind of relieving that I'm on liquids, I love it :) My plan is to incorporate more liquid meals into my diet and letting go of the heavy things (nuts, dried fruits). I also realize that I find it just amazing to really enjoy one fruit at a time. (I went a litte crazy with my Vita Prep when I ate raw solid foods and I mixed everything together... won''t do that anymore, or at least not so often in the future!)

I'm totally optimistic and loving myself for doing this FOR ME :)

Hope you're doing well? Would like to read your blog soon ^^

Do onions and garlic taste good in juices? Could you give me some recipes which worked out well for you? Would be great.

Love & Peace,

Violet

I'm at the end of day 12 now and feeling fabulous!! Only twice have I even thought of food, both on days where I didn't start juice until later and didn't drink enough through the day. It's still been really simple and I'm really really enjoying every minute of the juice feast.

One of our best savoury soups so far was half sweet potato and half celery (really nice non bitter celery), with a little garlic, sea salt, cayenne and black pepper. I will make that again this week. It's really nice to add the occasional juice that is more like a main course soup in terms of flavour. I think it would be really easy to do a Thai Juice too with lemon grass, galangal, garlic etc. Mmmmmm..

How is your journey going?

Hi Sheryl!!

Great that you're doing so well!! Congratulations :)

I'm at the end of day 10 now :)

I'm fine :)

I thought about doing the feast for 21 days, now I tend to do kind of a modified juice feast :)
So, I think I'll add a smoothie tomorrow and salads at the end of the week :)
I believe that's also very cleansing for my body and I'll drink about 1/2 to 1 quart of juice a day from now on, and I'll have a daily msm-lemon-shake! I like that ,) get's me going in the mornings ^^

However, I want to be take part in the Global Juice Feast in January - for extra motivation & fun - and maybe my parents will do the feast then as well.

I feel really good on juices, however, I don't have the best options right now and it's getting expensive. And I'm really looking forward to preparing & enjoying my solid RAW food :)

I noticed that my body wants to do sports, but I haven't taken time for exercise yet ... (only a little rebounding or stretching or going for a walk). Maybe I'll do some jogging tomorrow :)

I really love this experience I'm making and I know now that's not hard for me to live on juices :)

Send best wishes to you, my dear juice feasting friend ,)

Violet

Greetings to each one who reads this ... and in reply to the question: "Who's Juice Feasting Right Now?"

I started a citrus juice fast 7 days ago on November 24th, and graceful sleuthing on the internet I discovered the Juice Feasting web site on November 26th and became a Member on November 27th. What a wonderful and blessed gift! Since then I have started juicing lots of red, green & yellow vegetables, while continuing with plenty of citrus (lemon, orange, grapefruit), so that currently I am drinking at least 2 quarts of green & citrus juice daily. I also add plenty of cayenne pepper, and also add garlic, spirulina, psyllium, bentonite, and green powder, and I am drinking a fair bit of purified water. I am eating nothing, juicing everything.

I have fasted & juiced a great many times over the years, but for no more than 2 weeks at any one time. I expect to continue this round of juicing for at least another week, maybe longer. I am experiencing an astonishing level of regeneration in my whole system; the increasing vitality and radiance is remarkable and sublime.

I feel that part of this increase in Life Substance is due to the connection with the Spirit if this web site and the people who create and sustain it. There is no doubt that the individual radiance experienced through juice fasting and feasting is magnified because of the connection made and sustained within a Community of practitioners. It is Unified Radiation of the Spirit of Life itself, with thanksgiving to all the living green & growing things that make their bodies available to nourish our bodies, minds, hearts and allow the ascending Spirit to heal the Archangelic Body of this Holy World.

Thanks to the Creators of the Global Juice Feast and Juice Feasting web sites, and to all the beautiful Beings who participate and add their wisdom, insight, encouragement, guidance, faces and photos ... as well as commentary on individual challenges, and suggestions that ease and open the Way for all.

Many Blessings. db

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I. David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life. You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
