Global Juice Feast

The Concept of the Modified Juice Feast

David & Katrina have built an incredible program around an equally incredible concept. But not all of us feel called to do a full 92-day Juice Feast.

But what if you still feel called to do something with Juice Feasting?

Enter the Modified Juice Feast.

There is no plan to this, no rules. Well, except maybe that you at least drink some juice!

Why Am I Doing This?

I felt called to the Juice Feasting concept the first time I heard of it. However, I knew that I didn't feel called to do a whole Juice Feast as laid out in David's program. I've given this much thought over the past month or so and (with some additional help from David Rain) have come to this conclusion.

What Is My Modified Juice Feast?

Well, I'm giving myself no rules on this. My "plan" is to increase my juice (specifically green juice) consumption by at least two quarts a day for approximately 100 Days. Over that time, I will be including mostly raw foods in my diet otherwise. As most of you know from our blog, I am not a 100% raw foodist and may never plan to be.

I am, however, quite interested to see where my cravings for the cooked foods I still do eat go. In addition, I'm looking to:

* Improve my sleep.
* Improve my mental clarity.
* Stabilize my emotions.
* Lose some additional weight in my face.
* Clear the rest of my skin.

And more interestingly...

* Write and record a full album.
* Create a full performance.

I won't go into detail about my musical past here, but may do some more on my site: jsohlander.com.

What's Your Modified Juice Feasting Plans?

Share them here. Let's get together as a group and see what we can learn from each other about doing this our own way.

Tell us why you're choosing this path and what you aim to accomplish by doing so.

Hello all, I plan to do 4-5 days a week on Juice and green smoothies, then eat raw food, mostly salad on weekends. I have been 80-90% raw for a few months and hoping to overcome my addition to sweets for good. However i feel lead to the juice feast in this form also. I may eventually do the full 92 days, but I won't hold myself to a routine as such right now. I need a slow transition.

I love the idea of a modified juice feast. I'm new to all this and this is the first I've heard of it, I'm going to have to give it some thought. I'd love to be able to participate.
