I made a run to the Asian market and scored two boxes of coconuts yesterday, and found that the People's Co-op in Ocean Beach had organic strawberries for $1.29 (OMG!), dandelion greens that were super healthy looking, and HUGE, 2 pound bunches of red chard for $1.79! Now that's what I'm talking about! Yay! This is more like it, for in my neighborhood, they were dealing with rising prices by halving the portions ... not a good system for us feasters. So anyway, yesterday we made pina coladas JF-style and walked along the beach. Summer feasting is a joy! Today I made 2 gallons of green juice, and it is sitting there waiting for me ... I've got to make a road trip to LA in a few minutes, and nothing makes me happier than a fridge of full mason jars when I need to travel. It is such a good feeling to know you can have a great trip, sipping your juice through a straw, listening to tunes, whenever you have a long day of driving ahead.

I'm on day 14 today. I am feeling great, but my diet wasn't that great before, so I could only feel better, not worse.
