Oh by the way average BS was 190 before change with insulin and now average is 130 with no drugs. I am thrilled

I have had a mariad of health issues in the past year including kidney failure complete with dialisis and arrythmia with syncope. Drs were no help I slept about 20 out of every 24 hours and had almost given up.
I then changed my diet and kidneys recovered completely the heart rate has leveled off (no more sycope) sleeping about 6-9 hours a day rarely napping, exercizing 30-40 minutes a day, blood pressure has improved dramitically, no more insulin or oral diabetes drugs, in fact no drugs except for blood pressure med. Oh also no more migraines. Dr. is skeptical but encouraging. I am now on day 2 of juice feast. 7 weeks vegetarian, 2 weeks @ 80% raw. Wish me luck I am hoping to get to the next level and am looking forward to a complete recovery. Anyone got any recipies to share for the juice got to admit not very palitable at this point but doing it anyway. Got to be healthy again and maybe healthier than ever in my life.

I have just found that my glucose was at 410. This I am told is stroke level. So as one who wants to learn what I can do for this using raw living foods I am here joining this group. I had seen BJay on another site and see she is here also.. so I am grabbing her coat tails and see what I can learn.

THE ULTIMATE INSULIN REPLACEMENT

Well hey, whaddaya say? I thought I would start the ball rolling with the proclaimation that, "I am suprised that my sugars didn't skyrocket and crash as I feared they would on this juice feast"... The other day I felt better than I have in a long while. I felt so good, I jarred the attention of a few clueless witnesses...I was climbing storage racks, climbing on top offork lifts and trucks and other things and working...it was pretty awesome, and the whole time the "waiting to crash demon" yappin in the back of my mind...when it didn't happen, I was so stoked! It gave me the confidence I needed, to take my juice bag, and go> all the next day with no fears, that I was not going to make it, on what I had with me. I am even going to try juicing small amounts of fruits that for one reason or another, ie; food allergies, food reactions, diabetes, etc., were not able to eat. Now I want to try them, and will add them to the greens. because as I have found out..greens keep the fruit in the drink from absorbing too fast, and making it an ideal way for me to make a meal of fruit...without blowin up my meter*8-)
