Here is a little excerpt that I stumbled across from one of the group discussions on here.
This is from David Rainoshek on exercising while juice feasting;
"Exercise in and of itself creates a cleansing physiology, but it also demands more nutrients, making rebuilding/recovery absolutely necessary. If you are going to train, you may find it imbalancing to push a significant cleansing physiology by doing both strenuous exercise and Juice Feasting. What might work better is to do standard training, drink 3-4 quarts of juice each day, but also drink Green Smoothies, which will help you keep your weight up and ground you more than juices will. ( This is if you are wanting to train hard only).
If you have a health challenge you need to heal, lay off the training for the duration of your Juice Feast. Healing happens best with rest, and only enough movement to support your organs of elimination. While we can do significant exercise in the latter days of an extended Juice Feast (while drinking enough juice), in the first weeks the body is geared more towards detoxification and general maintenance, and strenuous exercise is not conducive to that process.
So, if you just want a little lighter body and a lot of liquid energy while training during a 30-Day period, try a Modified Juice Feast: 3-4 quarts of juice plus 1-3 quarts of Green Smoothie (or even some Green Soup with avocado). This will make you a lean running machine and decrease the likelihood of bonking.
I do exercise for 1 hour about 4-5 times a week..but I have built up to it and I have worked out with varying degrees of intensity since I was 14. I think you have to be gentle with yourself. Do what feels right to you. While you are detoxing most people do yoga or some type of gentle exercise. Sweating aids in the elimination of waste through your skin. So slowly working up a sweat is a good thing, but over doing it with the intensity of the workout will only over work your systems..and sort of work against the healing you are trying to achieve through fasting. The most important thing is that you move your body for at least 30 min a day.
Your lymphatic system, is a major player in your detox. It delivers the nutrients, oxygen, and hormones required by the cells. Then it collects and carries away cellular toxin/waste.
Lymph 101
Your Lymph System is sort of like your blood supply/or circulatory system, as in; it is carried through the body in a mesh-like network of tiny tubes that are distributed throughout the tissue spaces and are located just under the skin. They are made up of capillaries which branch and interconnect freely so that they extend into almost all tissues.. However, the lymph system does not have a "pump" as the blood has the heart. The lymphatic system relies on our movement to act as a "pump". Exercise is important because the movements of the muscles stimulate the pressure, allowing the flow of the liquid into the capillaries.Which then carry it to be eliminated.
Everyone is at a different stage physically. So you have to take a look at where you are. If you are used to climbing mountains..I would consider a hike. If you are used to sitting on the couch..taking a nice walk might be a nice start.
I think the main thing while doing a Juicing fast is that we listen to our body. We are healing different systems, our bodies are using energy to heal. We are releasing toxins causing different reactions. We need to exercise in moderation to aid in the process...but just like anything we can over do it. We want our body to be concentrating on healing at a deep level...not just repairing muscle.
Look into yoga, go on a 30 min bike ride if you feel like you can. Many people use a rebounder during a Juice feast because it helps stimulate the lymphatic system, but it isn't taxing on the body if you go easy on it.
Hope this helps...
Happy Juicing!!

So in short...move your body, and be sensible about where you are on a fitness level. Be gentle, and listen to your body.
Dear Johnny,
Have you thought about Dr. Gabriel Cousens at The Tree of Life in Patagonia, Arizona? I know that's not in Cal, but after going there they do phone consults as follow ups. Gabriel has written many books on Live and Whole Food Nutrition…
Hello,
I am having trouble finding a raw-vegan friendly gastroenterologist. I need to get a current diagnosis of my condition but am not willing to go through any drug "treatments." I put myself on a vegan diet in 2000 and raw vegan diet in 2002, a…

I lost 15 pounds after suffering from a long period of nausea and headaches which were resolved by adopting a largely raw food diet. However, I lost 15 pounds and have not gained it back -- and I was thin to begin with. I intuitively feel a juice fa…
Welcome to the Juice Feasting Japan group! Anyone is welcome to join. It is all about supporting each other in our quest to reacher or ultimate, highest selves. Whether you are in Japan or there at heart.
Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
