Hey!!!!!!! So nice to hear from someone from TO!!!!
Are you already feasting?
Hmm... I guess my flavour of the month is apple/beet/lemon/spinach/ginger juice:)))
Which studio do you teach at? I was home visiting in August, went to Bikram's at Don Mills and Sheppard.. very nice atmosphere.
The view from your wondow.. what are of Toronto is that?
Un abrazo is a hug in Spanish. I fell in love with Spanish and Italian languages, learning them eagerly.
That view is in the Annex, near the U of T. Very nice area otherwise (when the sun is out). When we eat our lunch together with my sweet little husband, we have a few trees right in front of our balcony, and the birds and squirrels often look at us, and we look at them with delight.
92 days is what I would like to do for cleansing and transitioning into Quantum Eating. Tonya's book is fascinating. She did a very thorough research on dry fasting, and other important issues for health and beauty and longevity. A must read I might ad.
Enjoy your sunny California - I do long there deep down inside. I am very happy for you. When the time is right, I'll be there chatting with you over a nice green concoction, I know it.
Thank you Aranka for those words of beauty and encouragement and for sharing your insights. You are amazing. Let's support eachother on this profound journey...my biggest challenge will be preparing meals raw or otherwise ( I am 95% raw but my family is about 80% and it being harsh winter now, we all enjoy bowls of millet or quinoa or veggie homemade soup, etc) for my children and Hubs- even shopping and being around food will trigger me. I am taking this one day at a time... I will be sending you strength.
A mother of three gorgeous kids and a Bikram yoga teacher - loving it all!
What kind of life shifts/transformations are you looking to have with Juice Feasting?
I am hoping to adopt Tonya Zavasta's Quantum Eating plan - raw optimum nutrition, but nothing between 2pm and 8am. I need to do a bit of house and body cleaning for that. Juicing will be the perfect medium to make the transition to smaller meals overall. I have started the feast early February, however I gave in to a couple of temptations, so now I'm starting again.
Where are you on the dietary spectrum?
Interests (Beyond Nutrition)
I love Bikram yoga and reading all kinds of books. I also love learning new things, so now I'm learning Italian, Spanish and drawing.
Every book that has Osho's talks
"Go ahead make my day!"
The Best of Youth, Amarcord, Life is Beautiful, Seinfeld, All About my Mother...
Yep its true I've enjoyed another fast. I decided after my initial 92+ days to make this a yearly mind, body spirit resting ritual.Don't know if I will ever go as long or longer but short - mid fasts are definitely now apart of my lifestyle. The benefits are endless and my intentions in the near future is to completely rest and relax during my fast (no phone, work, completely surrounded only by other fasters in nature etc.) It's a great time of healing and a lot of emotions, ideas etc arise…See More
"Hello! Substitutions are great try celery hearts, cucumber and any greens a variety is best. Tomatoes, bell pepper are a nice addition. Coconut water is tasty as a treat minus the meat. Hope this helps"
