About Me:
I turned 40 in June 2007and with June 2008 fast approaching I feel like I am at a cross-roads of sorts. So I have made the decision that *I WILL NOT* spend the next 40+ years struggling with the same weight and food issues that have plagued me for most of my adult life. I want to be a walking, talking example of the miracles that conscious-creating and a living foods lifestyle can bring about for anybody. I *CAN* be the change I want to see. It's completely doable and it's up to me to do it.

I also did an enema late in the day but nothing seemed to work. I'm just glad that I made it through without faltering. I did take a half dose of Tylenol P.M. at around midnight so that I could sleep. I know that's less than ideal but it was either that or be up all night with a cold wash cloth on my head.… Continue

Day 1!!!

Well I've joined in with the group a little late. I actually started juice-feasting several weeks ago and fell off the wagon for a bit. But now I am back. And it was a good learning experience. It showed me how strong my old habits are and how my mind can play tricks on me if my resolve falters even for a moment. These are issues that I have to be a lot more aware of and work through. I've also got to up my juice intake. Before I was not getting enough and I lost a lot of weight very quickly.… Continue

Hi Ellen,
I'm planning on starting my 1st juice feast in March. Your "about me" sounded so similar to my reasoning for wanting to do this I was moved to send you a note. Best of luck!
