I am studying to be a heath and nutritional consultant through "Total Health Mastery" (check out the company at THMastery.com for info) and have been on a wonderful journey learning about raw eating and the amazing health benefits that I never knew about! I have gained some weight.... but it seems others that transition to raw the weight just melts off. This is not the case with me and I'm learning to address this now.

What kind of life shifts/transformations are you looking to have with Juice Feasting?
I am looking to get my body in supreme health. I have not been sick since last October when I first started eating about 50% raw/living food and then did the vitratox cleanse in December. I am looking to keep the cleansing going as I know I will have to do the vitratox a few more times to get everything out. I've been about 95-98% raw since February. Right now to be honest the main reason is to help me shed the pounds I've gained (20 pounds); I weigh about 138 right now. I'm also hoping this will get my menstrual cycle back on track which is now every 45 days and I'm not sure why. Age maybe??? Nah.... I'm ageless on this diet!!!

I'm currently doing the P90X workout dvd's and am loving it. They really challenge me which is not easy since I work out ofen by running, kick boxing, spin classes, Yoga, weight lifting classes, etc. I can honestly say I have never worked out as hard as this program makes me work! I love it though.
Favorite Books
Lots of them, am currently reading "The mad cowboy" which is amazing!
i've never juice feasted before. i have juiced a lot in the past, but not that kind of quantity... i heard of the raw food diet and juicing about 8yrs ago and have struggled to maintain community support, which is so important. it is a bit alienating to change your diet so drastically. definately keep in touch!! peace be with you.
i haven't started a juice feast yet, recently turned vegan... taking it slow this time... plan to start in june. keep in touch! glad to have a kind word to ease the transition, thanks.
Hello Jennifer!
I'm ...just finishing a 21 day feast. I thought I'd go til 60 days... but my body and mind are saying: this time, 21 days is... a good intro.
I'm in Bermuda and here to do a musical residency and I need to focus a little bit more on music and less on ...enemas! This decision is coming... within the hour..
And I'm little timid to break the feast...
I don't want to "rush" into food- but I'm so excited to.
I want to keep my mind clear and present.
Anyhow- I wish you THE GREATEST FEAST EVER!
And I'll catch you on the flip side!
Thanks for the message... L
It is through Total Health Mastery and they have a 10 week course that you can do via telecast and then the class I am taking is the "leadership course" which I'm learning to be a health and nutrition consultant and seminar leader. It teaches everything you would learn from all the raw leaders out there teach - basically sums it all up and then we learn how to teach it. Originally I took the 10 week course when I was just starting out learning about eating healthy and learning about vegan and raw. It's an amazing course... check it out at thmastery.com. You would love it. There will be a guest night coming up and I will email you so you can listen in if you'd like? How are you doing on your juice feast today??? Last night I felt bored. I worked through it with positive affirmations. Hope I don't get too many of those kinds of "downs". Ha!!!

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
I was reading a book on juice fasting and it suggested that for long term fasts that nut milk could be beneficial for protein. Don't know if I buy it. It said that with short cleanses it will just make you want to eat solid food , but with cleanse...

There are many reasons why people are overweight – stress, lack of exercise, lack of knowledge concerning correct nutrition, over-worked, laziness etc. But I believe one of the most potent reasons for overeating is emotions. It is a well-known fac...
