Well, I'm doing pretty well. Going though a rough patch of detoxing at the moment
(headaches, swollen lymph nodes, lethargy, etc.), but otherwise Ok. I haven't had any food cravings since day 7 so, that makes it easier when I have to cook dinner for…
Okay, forgive me if I'm going too far here, but I need to ask to ensure a disaster doesn't occur...
I live in a house where there are nearly always other people around, and the bathroom and loo are in different areas. If I do an enema in the bathroo…
Thank You Tomi! What you said is very reassuring and well put. I too, and going through the juice feast without doing enemas. I am on day 4 right now and doing great. Every morning my body has been eliminating on its own, just like it did during the…
After reading all these posts - I just want to say each person needs to do what is right for themselves. Its ok to do enemas if you feel strongly about it. Also ok not to do so. I read the article by Herbert Sheldon and it fits with my sense for mys…
I rarely could do them in the morning when I did the 92-day last year. It was better for me, timewise and many other ways to do them at night. Not optimal, but the objective is to do them. So, yeah, I'd say as long as you can do them, do what is com…
I know they're supposed to be done in the morning, but between juicing, getting the kids ready for school and myself ready for work (have to walk out the door at 7am) there's very little time. They can still be done at night, right?
In my not so humble opinion, you must do the enemas. Cleansing without enemas is like cake, vegan raw cake, of course, without the icing. It's like the beach without sunshine. It's like a cucumber salad without the cucumbers. It's like a rainy day w…
I use Triphala which helps a lot with peristalsis. I learned about it from Gabriel Cousens' Tree of Life, although he highly recommends doing enemas as well. I personally prefer to do colonics instead of enemas. The last time I did a juice feast I u…
hey, Jojo- I'm with you on the enemas. It's for that reason that I drink smoothies rather than juices (I make the juices but don't remove the pulp- that's where my Vitamix comes in, rather than the juicer). Some people have physical or emotional reasons for avoiding enemas. Personally, I prefer a diet that allows my body to behave naturally. Lots of people love juicefeasting and do the enemas, but some of us don't. Whatever you choose I wish you the best experience!!

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
