I am a college student who has struggled with various health problems within the last couple years including: poly-cystic ovarian syndrome, gluten-intolerance, mild allergies, and anxiety/depression (among others). Because it is the summer, I am currently dismissed from classes, but am still living at school. I work six days a week from about two to ten hours per day. I am hoping my JF will lead to self-discovery and aid my transition into a 100% raw lifestyle.

A cold juice on a hot day, movies that get better every time you watch them, getting under clean sheets after just shaving my legs, completing coursework days before it's due, feeling the cool breeze while riding my bicycle, waking up refreshed after a good night's sleep, and meditating.
At the beginning of the feast, it was about 3 litres a day...then I tappered to about 2 a day -- that's all I felt like! Otherwise, I wouldn't have lost so much most likely!
I think that is a good plan. I was thinking about it this evening. I really wanted to eat a salad this evening, but I resisted. I figured why not see how far I can get.
You could do a modified feast. :D Have salads or fruit when you feel like it, but have smoothies and juice. I'm thinking if that is the better route. I have an upset tummy today...
Yes I am using a juicer, the Breville Juice Fountain Compact, but I find it doesn't extract that well for the leafy greens. I'm going to try the blender/bag method, but my blender is crap and I can't afford a Vitawhatnot. :)...My juicer sounds like a jet engine. ;)
Ohhh pineapple juice. I'm going to dive into that tomorrow. Maybe I'll do a watermelon, pineapple...something or other. That might be nice! I am trying fruit juice tomorrow. :D Hope you are ready for Day 2! :D
Hi Kait,
thanks for adding me as a friend. I wish for you that everything you hope for through the juice feast comes true. I have been juicing since March 1 2008. I slipped in late March so I started over. T'day is day 76 for me, I have grown so much, rid mysel of so much, its been amazing. Love and juice xo! Dea
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
