What kind of life shifts/transformations are you looking to have with Juice Feasting?
I'm looking into this to find out if it makes sense to me. Don't know much about this. Need to lose over 100 pounds. Want to have better health and feel better. As a Christian I seek to be of service to others, I know if I have better health I will have more to give. I'm am unsure of the best way to eat. I'm unsure that I have the ability to change my eating habits, as its been the one area of my life that I just can't seem to get a handle on. I'm willing to keep trying though as it is an area of my life that I really want to change.

Hi Mary-Jeanne. I'm on Day 7, finally over the first "hump" of many but feeling basically really good. I'm in Eugene, OR (recently relocated from New York). I think the Pacific Northwest is an incredible place to be doing a juice feast - such a cornucopia! I'd love to hear if you've started yet, what your thoughts and feelings are, etc. Good luck with your goals! (Your lodge looks lovely.)
I started juice feasting last year - I've done 3 so far - each for 10 days. I really liked the idea of fasting to help with my health problems but knew that I had to have energy to keep up with my regular life.
So I thought that juicing would supply my cells with great nutrition and still give my body a break from digestion so it could work on my health issues, since the juice goes right to our cells - we receive about 90 % of the nutrition instead of 30 % or less from eating our food.
The last little while I was thinking I wanted to go on a longer juice fast and someone told me about this Global Juice Feasting!
My first juice feast I allowed myself to eat fruit if I really felt I needed something or was with people and wanted to have something - and a couple of times I had a fruit smoothie.
My health issues are better over this past year - I have also started exercising again as of last August.
I want to reset my body even more and let it have a chance to correct some more things.
I believe I will continue to do this some each year to give my body a break.

MJ,
I have a green life and also a Breville Juice Fountain Elite.
The Breville is the last one I purchased and it is easy to use & clean and makes a lot of juice fast. However, the Green Life is suppose to keep more of the enzymes in the juice since it is a grinding type juicer.
I will type more soon. Gotta go.

Mary-Jeanne,
Good luck with your goals and your juice feast!
Do you know when you plan to start yet?
I started today - Feb 24th. First day went good.

Dear Johnny,
Have you thought about Dr. Gabriel Cousens at The Tree of Life in Patagonia, Arizona? I know that's not in Cal, but after going there they do phone consults as follow ups. Gabriel has written many books on Live and Whole Food Nutrition…
Hello,
I am having trouble finding a raw-vegan friendly gastroenterologist. I need to get a current diagnosis of my condition but am not willing to go through any drug "treatments." I put myself on a vegan diet in 2000 and raw vegan diet in 2002, a…

I lost 15 pounds after suffering from a long period of nausea and headaches which were resolved by adopting a largely raw food diet. However, I lost 15 pounds and have not gained it back -- and I was thin to begin with. I intuitively feel a juice fa…

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
