Hi sarah... thanks for adding me, nice to know there is someone out there from my neck of the woods! Your recent apprenticeship sounds amazing - I am very jealous as am dying to get there eventually. Am very keen to start a juice feast after exams end, but am a little nervous, and unsure as to whether I can make it that long! Iget married in feb and would love for my body to finally respond to all that I am asking it to do :) Where abouts in NZ wil you be moving back to?

that's good to know... all I seem to be doing is putting it on at the moment, which just isn't much fun! Congrats on the land purchase, I am from near Christchurch & that's where we're getting hitched - small world! Would do anything to be back there as such a beautiful city

Hi Rawkiwi,
Is your name Sarah? My daughters name :-)
Your work sounds very specialized and interesting. I have a massage tutor that works with horses - mainly cranial sacral. She loves it.
Oh yes, plenty of advice re: juice feasting hehe ... firstly it's a good idea to make your diet as clean as possible (ie raw) for a couple of months prior to the feast - that way the transition is hardly noticeable. It's actually suprisingly easy to stick to it. For me the hardest part was transitioning back to balanced eating afterwards - I'm still struggling with it. Also connecting with other JF'ers is a good idea, so you don't feel like you're an isolated crazy, waking up at 5am to have an enema and juice your celery - oh the fun! No really! hehe xxx

Hi everybody,
I am organizing a group of people who are keen to do 92 days juice feasting in march. (In Auckland). I think it would be a great idea to meet together before feast starts and make a strong group support during the feast.I already have a few people interested from my clients.I am going to California next friday for 3 weeks - Living light Culinary Raw Chef course. I am back 7th february so we will have enaugh time to meet before feast.I am hoping Lisa will be keen to share her experiences from her last feast .i only made 30 days last year but it was an amazing how I felt.
Those of you who are keen to participate please send me an email to and when I be back, I will organize meeting.
In mean time, try to eat as much raw as possible, including green smoothies - 1 1/5 l a day. it is a great preparation for feast.
Love and Peace

Day 52

Yep its true I've enjoyed another fast. I decided after my initial 92+ days to make this a yearly mind, body spirit resting ritual.Don't know if I will ever go as long or longer but short - mid fasts are definitely now apart of my lifestyle.  The benefits are endless and my intentions in the near future is to completely rest and relax during my fast (no phone, work, completely surrounded only by other fasters in nature etc.)  It's a great time of healing and a lot of emotions, ideas etc arise…See More

"Hello! Substitutions are great try celery hearts, cucumber and any greens a variety is best. Tomatoes, bell pepper are a nice addition. Coconut water is tasty as a treat minus the meat. Hope this helps"
