I am 40 years old woman from Slovakia living in New Zealand for the last 4 years.
I have a 12 year old son Martin and the most amazing partner Steve.
For the last 8 months i've been on a raw food diet.
At the moment I am following Dr.Doug Graham diet 80-10-10 which I absolutely love.Certainly there were a few failures...usually bread and some cookies, but I always try to improve myself. commitments.:-)))
I started juice feasting last months but I couldnt handle it really without support. But on 80-10-10 diet I actually feel like I am feasting at all time.

What kind of life shifts/transformations are you looking to have with Juice Feasting?
My name is Eleanor and I'm pleased to see you and another...Lisa are in Auckland. I haven't started the juice feast yet, still organizing myself. I look forward to keeping in touch over the next few weeks.
Great to see another Kiwi at Global Juice Feasting - that makes 3! I'm getting ready for the 1st of March start. I've been raw for two months now and am ready to take my health to higher levels. I will try to find the Dr. Graham 80-10-10 diet for another perspective on eating raw - it sounds interesting. I look forward to keeping in touch and I'd love to be part of your Juice Feasting support crew. Best wishes, Lisa (Grey Lynn)
Thanks for your reply. I've pushed the wrong button and as a result deleted your message!!! Just wanted to ask you and Lisa about the produce / veges you are using and the supplements if any, and what have you found to be equal or equivalent to the suggested products on the juice feast?
I have a SamSun juicer and are thinking of getting a Vitamix. I have had 2 litres of juice over the last 2 days and so preparing for the big day.
Hope the juicing is going well. I wanted to ask you if you are using organic produce, and if so, where are you buying your celery from. I'm having a hard time finding any.
Many thanks :-)
PS I'm living in Grey Lynn
I juiced 2 litres today, celery (from our garden), 6 small apples, 6 carrots 1 cucumber, chunk of ginger, and bag of spinach, it was very pleasant. It took me 3/4 - 1 hour to prepare. At lunch time it was great just to sit and drink after I prepared the family and friends their lunch BUT we all went blackberry picking after lunch then ... I made blackberry pie and ... yes ... my eyes looked, my hands followed my mouth opened and need I go on ... you can imagine ... so I didn't completely juice today!
I will get some scales this week to get a better idea of the volume and weight.
I have been buying from the local supermarket and KW Joe. We do have an organic shop but I have not done my homework to see if they can supply the amount I need. Like Lisa I will look into the 80-10-10 book you mentioned. I have not bought any supplements yet but am open to trying some. I already have a skin brush and an enema bag. I am findng my conversation to you and Lisa are much the same at this point, so I have just copied and pasted
I must to tell you I am going to start again!! Hope I can make at least 1 months.I have been to buy greens tuesday as well.Did you buy organic celery from eco-organic? I am looking forward to meet you sometimes next week if you can...
Have a great day---its beautiful outside!!
Yep its true I've enjoyed another fast. I decided after my initial 92+ days to make this a yearly mind, body spirit resting ritual.Don't know if I will ever go as long or longer but short - mid fasts are definitely now apart of my lifestyle. The benefits are endless and my intentions in the near future is to completely rest and relax during my fast (no phone, work, completely surrounded only by other fasters in nature etc.) It's a great time of healing and a lot of emotions, ideas etc arise…See More
"Hello! Substitutions are great try celery hearts, cucumber and any greens a variety is best. Tomatoes, bell pepper are a nice addition. Coconut water is tasty as a treat minus the meat. Hope this helps"
