the stream of videos you're adding are so informative. you must mine them on a regular basis. really like the extended calabrese interview. her accomplishments and philosphies are inspiring.
You can do it...then I know you know that....and I am so glad you know where to turn when those 'strange' dis-eases pop up. I have abused my body with food (chocolate, sugar, butter, bread) and drink (in binges...not long term) off and on over the y…
Best of luck man. I have been feasting for 26 days now and and am beginning to feel the positive effects. I'm hoping to make 60 days and then slide into a raw lifestyle.
Going to be turning 53 in early June and I am ready for a juice feast. Got introduced to juicing in ' 75 when my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and only given 3 weeks to 3 months to live. She did raw foods and lots of juice and lived anoth…
I am on day 25 of my feast and I know what you mean about the emotions. Everything seems to be hyper real now - my sense of smell has become quite incredible. I'm cold a lot, I sleep very deeply - I know I am having robust dreams but I forget them a…
Great thread!
My own father was 69 when I Juice Feasted him for 90 Days. He lost almost 50 lbs, and stayed out of back surgery. What is great about Juice Feasting for those of us who have been around the sun more times is that it not only cleanses,…
It looks like there are a few of us that are 50 and over and doing well on the juice feast. I'm on day 24 myself and feeling great. I'm hoping to do at least 60 days. I have a college reunion the end of April and that is one of my primary motivation…
I'm going hiking tomorrow and wonder what to bring for energy. Normally I'd bring a couple of Cliff bars , bananas, apples and the like. But I'm juice feasting. I'm thinking of drinking 64 oz. of juice in the morning and then bring lemon/cayenne/aga…

I am 53 going on 54 and did about 2 weeks of juice feasting, fell off the wagon and am back on...Day 2 now....I am like KatBowie...I don't look or feel my age....esp when juice feasting and eating raw foods. I did 17 days last year, felt great...don…
Hi, This is Kat in Kansas City, MO. I am only doing a month this time. But last year I did the entire 92-Day and I will be 52 in May. Sure don't look like it, feel like or "act like it", whatever that's supposed to mean anyway, LOL!
Interesting que…
Hi There Randy - How's things going? Don't give up! It may be that you just need to do more research and to keep Jfeasting to get past this hump, that's all. Food addictions are as powerful as any drug - I listened to David Rain's hour interview yesterday - he said that there are 5 opiates in wheat and 3 in dairy! It's no wonder we have these cravings -but as we continue to jfeast and eat live food, they pass. He gave lot of other great info too. If you haven't read Gabriel Cousens yet, he's another resource for support and quality info. I've had a few cravings but have managed to overcome them with thoughts of 'live food' means 'live me' vs. 'dead food' means 'dead me.' As I prepare my husband dinners it all looks dead to me now and I've simply lost interest in it. The smells are hard though on the weekends, but a lighted piece of nag champa greatly helps;) Remember to be gentle with yourself. Sometimes it's two steps forward and three back. Hang in there -I know you can do it!
I am amazed at how well it's going now that I have gotten into the 11th day and past the first weekend. I really feel great! I felt tired the first several days but now I find that I'm getting more in tune with listening to my body and giving it what it needs when it needs it and I'm feeling more energized everyday. I attribute some of that to the great fresh organic bee pollen I found on ebay.I don't miss food at all, in fact, believe it or not, I cook my husbands vegan dinners for him. It looks dead and unappealing to me. And I agree with you about the fuzzy teeth - good description BTW:) I noted that you're going to try a Vita-Mix. I'll be curious to see how it you like it. The BlendTec I have does a great job.I got it after selling a GreenStar - it did a good job, but the cleanup! So, I hunted down a great deal with free shipping online and didn't look back.I use a sieve and a pestle after blending it to a pulp with some water - quick and easy.I may try a mylk bag though or make my own . . . carpe diem!
Dear Johnny,
Have you thought about Dr. Gabriel Cousens at The Tree of Life in Patagonia, Arizona? I know that's not in Cal, but after going there they do phone consults as follow ups. Gabriel has written many books on Live and Whole Food Nutrition…
Hello,
I am having trouble finding a raw-vegan friendly gastroenterologist. I need to get a current diagnosis of my condition but am not willing to go through any drug "treatments." I put myself on a vegan diet in 2000 and raw vegan diet in 2002, a…

I lost 15 pounds after suffering from a long period of nausea and headaches which were resolved by adopting a largely raw food diet. However, I lost 15 pounds and have not gained it back -- and I was thin to begin with. I intuitively feel a juice fa…
Welcome to the Juice Feasting Japan group! Anyone is welcome to join. It is all about supporting each other in our quest to reacher or ultimate, highest selves. Whether you are in Japan or there at heart.
Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
