you basically shred turnips and then squeeze the juice out, then just flavour as you would cooked rice. Spanish, mexican, and curry are a few of the flavours I like, also good on nori rolls.

Update - 3 months later

Still raw. Still losing weight. Still grateful to have found this site.

I haven't wanted cooked food at all, being raw is a lot of work but just like the Jfeast, it's work that's well worth it. I found the 4 ways to get your greens crucial to keeping diversity in my diet. Green soups, smoothies and salads have been my mainstays although I do still use my juicer from time to time.

Sweet things are kind of gross and tastes in general are more intense so you tend to want less of the flavours you thought you liked before.

To say everything's different would be an understatement. Almost every aspect of my life has been enriched and due to having gotten rid of some low-level residual depre… Continue

I've also just come down with a very strange illness which seems to be some kind of retinal swelling. From everything I've read there's nothing I can do but wait for it to heal (a… Continue

Chard Salt at Long Last!

There it is! Success at last. Here's what I did

3. dehydrate overnight or until bone dry
4. grind to a fine powder

NOTE do not take during juice feast, this s… Continue
