I heard myself say to someone today that "if you are not enjoying your healing process than you are not healing". And then there was silence. Wow, that's so profound because your joy is your healing.
When people ask me if they should give up coffee, I respond with complet… Continue

Greetings to all my friends and future friends,
I have been absent from the juice feasting community for quite a while, however, it was not by choice. On January 17th, 2009, I was rushed to the hospital after having suffered a stroke. The stroke effected my left side and I spent three months in a medical and rehabilitation care center. With daily therapy I went from a wheelchair, to a walker, to now, a four point cane. The next step is to walk on my own. I believe juice feasting and maintaining… Continue
I guess I was under the impression that major detox stops before day 60. This was untrue in my case, although it SEEMS (caps because it seems like i've been saying this a very long time) like its ramping down. Who knows, honestly, as long as I've still got all this toxic sludge in my system I don't give a fig newton how long it takes me to get rid of it as long as I do.
I feel like the earth, all dirty and polluted and angry and full of natural disasters that don't seem quite as natural as they… Continue

Well here I am. I have sat down to blog everyday for a week and I couldn't bring myself to post. I had been keeping a blog on the web you can go here to read it if you feel led. I have been 65 days 100%Raw, and I have been pretty much just drinking 2 liters of green smoothie and 2 liters of juice, with 3-4 liters of water for the past month or so...with light raw dinners on occasion. The week before I started the Juice fast I had very… Continue

Feeling good. Gotta jam for a flight to maui to visit some friends, take care of some bus.
Last night intersting smelling all the food being cooked for the Padaca family where I am staying. Enjoying the global juice feast gang. Getting a lot darker from the hawaiian sun and swimming. Ran into two people on the north shore that said I looked younger than when I was here a year and half ago and did a 40 day juice fast… so… Continue
Greetings to all my juice feasting friends,
I haven't visited for a while because I was on vacation. I am still feeling wonderful post juice feasting. Even in my travels I have maintained 100% vegan raw. It has been a challenge at times because, where I was staying, it was not always easy to get fresh vegetables and fruit. You have to drive quite a distance before you reach a market. I stocked myself with dried fruit, nuts and seeds to munch on when needed. It's been 52 days since I completed th… Continue
Although I finished my JF on day 33, it is the gift that keeps on giving- I STILL feel sooooo clean and energetic and INSPIRED! Am eating beautifully, and feeling bettr than ever! And the inner world is forever expanding and deepening...here is another painting as I seem to b… Continue

This picture sums up how I'm feeling today.....just like I'm sliding into home plate. (Although I feel so much cleaner than that!) Tomorrow will be my final day of official juice feasting. It's really hard to believe it's almost over. This last month has been my most challenging tim… Continue

Last night I started feeling a little rough, and that has continued into today. I have not been around anyone who is sick to my knowledge, so I am guessing this is some kind of cleansing reaction in which case it shouldn't be very long-lived. Perhaps the master cleanser has kicked the cleansing into a higher gear.
I bought some cilantro at Native Sun the other day for my drinks, and I never realized how strong flavored it is. Wow. I think I like it though, but I might cut back to 1/4 a bunch in… Continue

I'm still pretty amazed that I'm doing this. I wonder when the reality will set in. The routine is still coming around, much easier, obviously on the days I'm at home. I'm thinking of doing the master cleanse on the days I can't be home to make the juice, but I know that means we don't get the greens in, so I'm not sure how to deal with that. I really don't like the idea of drinking old juice. It's been drilled into me for years and years how the enzymes deteriorate quickly once the flesh is com… Continue
OK.....The momentum is certainly picking up great speed. For some time I have known I would embark on this 92 day journey to the unknown...but never expected it so soon. I have been curious and definatly intrigued with the health and spiritual lifts through completing such an amazing 92 days.
For me, I have been wanting to fully cleanse and restor my health even more that a raw diet could do. I can feel it....just below my skin. like an itch...a funny little tickle need not be ignored any more.… Continue

This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
