Global Juice Feast

Creative title, huh?

Today, like yesterday, I didn't get my full gallon of juice in. I think part of the problem is only having pint sized jars for my juice. Here's what I had:

16 oz. Spinach/celery/cucumber/lemon juice
24 - 30 oz. Chard/mango/lime juice
32 oz. Carrot/apple/celery/cucumber/ginger with some spirulina powder (that clumped at the bottom of my jar, and I got a mouthful at the end of the juice)
Lots of water -- at least a quart or two.

I have some carrot/apple/celery/cucumber/ginger juice left -- almost a quart, but it's 8:40, and I am planning on going to bed soon. I guess that will be the base for my green juice in the morning.

Today I walked to the organic/health store about 2 miles away, and I got some ginger and some kale. I also bought some aloe vera gel to use as a moisturizer, hemp oil to start using tomorrow, and some more spirulina (it was on sale 2 for 1). I figure I'll use a bunch of it during the feast, and if I have any left over, I'll still use it in my smoothies.

I might get a grapefruit or pineapple to juice tomorrow or the next day. Yum!

I weighed myself today, so that I can keep track of my progress, then I put my scale on top of my wardrobe so that I won't be tempted to weigh myself every time I go into the bathroom. I will be weighing myself once/week, on Sunday evenings.
Starting weight: 156.8 lb

Along with some weight loss, I'm hoping to have improved sleep, and improved energy. Currently, I'm still tired after sleeping 8-9+ hours. I also want to fall into a healthier routine of not only sleep, but also of exercise. I want to use my extra energy and time to read some good books, and maybe take a dance class. I don't have a tape measure, otherwise I would take body measurements so I could track that progress, too.

Ok, time to get ready for bed. Nighty night, juice feasters.
