I'm working on my last quart of juice for today, and I have to say that today has been a rollercoaster of emotions. It's nuts!
This morning, I woke up feeling a little groggy, but I was energized immediately after skin brushing (got to love it). I made a great green juice, and I was in a great mood all morning. Around lunch time, I decided to get crazy and make a straight fruit juice, which I haven't done up until this point. Oranges were on sale at the store the other day, and I'd been excited to juice them. So, I made a great citrus juice, and it gave me tons of energy, but I think I waited too long to use that energy. I went to the gym after finishing my juice (should have gone halfway through), and I got tired really quickly. I didn't do a whole lot, but when I was done, I had a headache, I was tired, and I was ready for something to eat (not drink). Instead, I came home, took a hot/cold quick shower, and drank a quart of water. I made some spinach/carrot/apple/ginger juice for my 4th quart, and I'm working on that now. I still have a headache, and I'm feeling really moody -- plus I'm feeling like I don't want to juice feast anymore. Silly.
What I've had today:
1.5 qt. chard/cilantro/cucumber/celery/lime
1 qt. orange/grapefruit/cucumber
1.5 qt. spinach/apple/carrot/ginger
Water -- 2+ quarts
I may decide to modify my juice feast more. My main reason to do this is to lose weight and feel better, over all. I'm blaming my cruddy mood on not having my enema kit yet (and not eliminating enough). I'm not in a hurry to lose weight, and I may feel less deprived (I know, I know, it's about abundance) if I add green juices to what I've been doing, and work my way into health instead of jumping in with both feet.
I'll see how I feel tomorrow, though.
