Well, I was able to purchase my Vita-Mix 5000 over the internet today, so I should expect it in a week or so. I am going to do the full-92 day Juice Feast and am hoping to go at it with very little supplements for three main reasons:
1) I would like to see the power and results of Juice Feasting as it stands without support of additional methods.
2) It can become very expensive to purchase and maintain a constant level of supplements in addition to making sure you are buying the most potent and quality version of each supplement.
3) It takes a lot of time to use each and every supplement you add into the Juice Feast! Many supplements are said to be added during different times of the day, before or after certain meals, at certain points of your morning Juice making process, etc., etc.
For anyone who may not know--David Rainoshek and the good people at JuiceFeasting.com say that the power of Juice Feasting does not require additional supplements to work. Juice Feasting can and was initially made to stand on its own.
"THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU ARE DOING ON A JUICE FEAST is drinking 3-4 or more quarts of fresh juice each day, and supporting your organs of elimination through enemas, exercise, skin brushing, hot/cool showers, and adequate rest.
Supplements are add-ins. Some are very powerful, effective add-ins, but they are still additions. We are not supplements fanatics. Supplements are useful, particularly for re-establishing balance when less than the best diet and lifestyle has been practiced for some years. "

Supplements and Superfoods excerpt from JuiceFeasting.com
This being said, the 'very little supplements' I mentioned are: MSM, Hemp Oil, and Coconut Oil.
Now, onto superfoods.
One of my goals is to be able to begin muscular building around the suggested 62nd day of the Juice Feast. Because of this and my belief that these superfoods I am about to mention are excellent regardless [of the Juice Feat], I will be using Spirulina and Chlorella in addition to the above-mentioned supplements. In addition, I am contemplating bee pollen granules and have found a couple of places online, but have read that it is best to buy granules refrigerated. Does this mean I cannot buy from online as they will not be delivered cold?! If so, I need to call a local mom & pop place to buy them, because my local Akin's is
so expensive at $16.95 a pound!
I have considered using Vitamineral Green, but I will be receiving so many greens on the Juice Feast that I may reserve this for when I finish the 92-day Juice Feast and am juicing as a regular part of my eating lifestyle.
Lastly, two things I am not certain I will be doing are the Break-Stone Tea and the Parasite Cleansing (using Parastroy). Maybe I am being confident in my health, as it is, and not seeing those two being that effective for me personally. One thing I am confused about is that if Juice Feasting was made to not be using supplements, aren't those two (Break-Stone Tea & Parastroy) supplements that they have
included in the timeline? This does confuse me and has me thinking that 'Perhaps these are optional like the other supplements?'
So from all of this, I will be beginning my Juice Feast in about 3-weeks.
