I have in the past always been cold to some degree in the winter when doing 100% raw, and definitely when juice fasting. That's why this winter I'm so surprised! I live in the cold northeast, where it's been in the 30s lately, and I find myself foregoing sweaters and just putting on one thin long-sleeved jersey under my coat or parka when I go outside. Usually by the time I come home from shopping I'm sweating a little bit and can't wait to get out of my coat. My husband, meanwhile, has to wear 3 or 4 layers and a parka, and he's freezing and sometimes even shivering. I'm convinced we do adap beautifully to rawt; sometimes it just takes awhile to see the results; this particular manifestation has taken me almost 25 years of eating raw (I'm 59) to finally make its appearance.
