I had a challenging night last night. Had a very difficult time getting to sleep - and did not sleep soundly.
I got a late start drinking the juices, as I didn't start making them until 8 AM today - and it took me over 2 hours. BUT - I made 6 1/2 quarts! That's five for me, and 1 1/2 for the hubby.
Juice for the Day:
3 1/2 quarts: a nice savory juice containing baby Romaine lettuce, celery, lemon, tomato, broccoli stalks and carrots. I seasoned it lightly with a touch of apple cider vinegar and garlic pepper.
1 pint: orange
1 quart: Granny Smith apples/raspberry
Exercise: 1.5 mile walk
Had a massage - and that helped with the restless feeling.
I stopped by Whole Foods today and spent a chunk on produce! I'm glad most of the time I'll be able to get it through the produce coop. It sure helps with the expense!
I was surprised that on this third day of the Juice Feast, I'm already craving the savory juices. I really enjoyed them today.
This was my first day back at work - after the month long recovery from my eye surgery on the 5th of February. Was a bit hungry last night, and also today.
