Hi Sweet Person: Since you asked, here is info on what kinds of juices I make:
Today (my Day 20) I juiced a whole watermelon and shared it at a potluck. Then did a "clean the fridge" juice with about 6 kinds of greens .... kale spinach escarole chard and more. We love it with a splash of ACV and pink salt and pepper.
I love vanilla-flavored OJ with spirulina and ice-blended. Incredible. I make grapefruit, fresh aloe and dandelion a lot. Yesterday I had two coconuts ... just grab and go like they were bottled drinks. I just take my big knife and straws and stick them in my cooler when running errands around town.
I tried some fresh herbs last Thursday, a powerful herb (lambsfoot) that I juiced and had a bit too much of. It really cleaned me out and got my off my plateau, LOL. File that under the category: be more specific when sending out an intention!!!!
My main go-to is citrus ... which I also like with greens a lot ... I add lemons and limes to my green drinks nearly always, because they add zing and are cheaper than other things such as cukes, which I add when I can find them cheap. I add ginger to nearly everything ... I love the flavor it adds. I chop a bit of ginger and put it in the Vitamix with a bit of water and make a slurry, then strain that water thru a fine mesh strainer, and then it is easy to add this "ginger water" to whatever I am making.
We now have apples on our trees, so we have been juicing a lot of carrot/ginger/apple which is divine.
I make a lot of different things using coconut as a base, adding other fruits such as pineapple and mellow greens such as romaine or spinach.
Sometimes I want just a plain fruit day, but if so, I make sure I add superfood green powders.
Right now I want my GVJ with a splash of ACV and pink salt and fresh ground pepper. So good. As always, I flavor the base of my GVJ with organic mint drops and stevia until I like it. I honestly do not think I could do the feast without "doctoring" up all my green drinks to neutralize their strong green and sometimes bitter taste. So altho this is not "orthodox" according to JF protocols, it is working very well for me and my family. We love our minty sweet greens, and once I add the splash of ACV, they are no longer sweet, but now tangy, and yet there is no bitter after-taste, or worse yet--gag response--which I might have if I did not flavor them to suit my palate.
Garlic cravings ... hmm, could be that you are detoxing something powerful like old meat and your body wants the extra antiseptic help that garlic provides as a blood purifier and parasite killer ...
I got garlic craving last summer during my first feast and went crazy with it but now I have no interest in it ... I think it is a great idea to go with your healthy cravings ... your body knows best!
Yes, it is an amazing bouncing tool, that rebounder! You can go to www.qibounding.com to read all about it, and the one that we have can be found here!
HI Kim ... Day 14 for me ... today I made grapefruit/romaine/ginger and then coconut/spinach/mint ... yum. I feel great. Right now I want to take a nap but I got up early and took a walk because I had so much energy .... How are you feeling today? It must be Day 12 for you, right? I found giant cucumbers for 50 cents at the farmer's market so I will be juicing those later ... right now I am really into my greens ... funny how I crave them now like I used to crave SAD food. :0
Hi Kim,
I remember feeling a lot of energy throughout, until the end when I really crashed and subsequently decided to end the feast a couple days early. Yes on the jesusy feelings :) I loved being on the juice feast. I blogged about my experience: life-of-savrah.blogspot.com
Check it out. Good luck!
Love it, Kim. Now I must write something for someone who is expecting it so I am saying: TOGETHER DIVINE GIGGLE DONE!
I am glad to hear about your energy today ... I hadn't had greens for a few days ... was into a fruit thing ... so made GVJ all day with masses of about 5 kinds of leafy greens and added green powders, MSM and ACV and thought I was going to leave my body, it tasted so good. It is amazing how our taste buds change when we truly align with our highest good.
Hi Kimmie ... yah, it's been a cleaning day for me, too ... all day. Went through my closet to find things to give away (per your inspiration) and ending up refreshing and aligning everything ... ready for my next adventure.
I have heard it said that life is like a camping trip ... you're either packing ... camping ... or unpacking somehow .... and then packing again ... etc. on a daily basis. :)
When we are JFing it is all fun .... I am amazed at how much I am really into crystals nowadays in the decluttering process ... when all the surfaces are clear, all the crystals in my collection want to come out and take their positions ... they seem to really want to participate as my partners in holding the thought forms I am pulsing out .... and they asked to be washed regularly to be re-energized and also like to be re-arranged in new patterns. I would have thought this was airy-fairy a few years ago, but after a very intense year of mental accomplishment, I see their power in holding a forcefield, and how eager their are for their "assignments".
All of this is linked to the JFing which is truly about, as David and Katrina say, the Hero's Journey ... and the Hero makes use of all the magical tools available in order to multiply and expand effectiveness.
thanks for the luv, SiStar ... :) ... cinnamon rock ... i love it with those giant mexican papaya, which are a little bland ... when eating, I also make raw cinnamon toast with big slices of jicama and sprinkle on a stevia/cinnamon topping .... cinnamon toast and cocoa are my comfort foods .... so thank goddess we can make hot chocolate mate tea and add chocolate stevia .... not so important now that the weather is hot but it sure helped me on those cold winter nights ....
Wow you found me directly! I was on the point to write to you on PI to tell you that I joined! Today I have joined 2 new communities!
Please tell me what you are doing, where to begin, I wnat to do it...thanks...
TOGETHER DIVINE LOVE JUICE FAST!
Hi Kim: Re "is this your first juice feast?" No, this is #3 for me:
1st feast - 14 days, Summer 2007
2nd feast - March 1, 2008 - 28 days perfectly, another 20 days imperfectly
3rd feast - started June 9 - and it continues for the summer of 2008
Thought about watermelons, dreamed about watermelons ... but ending up picking dozens and dozens of warm juicy plums that drop each day around our loaded plum tree ... searching for them in the foliage like hot purple easter eggs ... then pitted and Vitamixed and strained this yumminess, added lemon juice and a bit of sweetness, served over ice .... and been floating ever since. So my watermelon still awaits me. I am still thinking about her, chillin' in the fridge. But my tummy is so full of plumminess that it will prolly be tomorry before I carve into her. Are you loving your watermelon day?
Re watermelon juice ... is it OK to skip greens? ... well, all the long-term success on the JF seems to point to getting those greens and green powders in ... so that is "letter of the law".
However, the "spirit of the law" is go with the flow. The hot weather sure beckons us to just go with pure melon flush delight days ... and even David R said some days he couldn't even look at greens ... all his body wanted was watermelon ... so I think that as long as we are really listening to our bodies, anything is cool. And after a day or two of melon, return to the greens and let that pattern create itself per your cravings.
I met Markus at Raw Spirit last year. He stuck out as a rocker in a sea of hippies. I am totally inspired by his art, his house in Las Vegas and all the other stuff on his website.
He says some funny and truthful things about a long detox here:
nut mylk bags are a bit pricey, so I go to the hardware store to the paint section and buy 5 gallon size paint strainers (mesh bags made of netting) - usually 2 for $4. They work great, and I can throw them in the washer when they get dirty. They will last a month or longer.
hi I still doing enamas almost everyday... i am still detoxing lots... sometimes I do 2 a day... David said if you are overweight you can keep doing them everyday... some did them everyday that were not overweight..
I feel much better.. I have a chronic illness that is getting sooo much better.. Had a healer work on me this week.... he could not believe I was doing as well as I am... he knows all about lymn disease.. so I came into this feast exhausted.... now I feel soooo very blessed and grateful for were I am right now...
"Watermelon juice is the most alkaline of any fruit or vegetable! Because of this, it can help overcome acidic conditions of the body. It is rich in protein, A,B, and C vitamins, enzymes and chlorophyll, and easily digested by most people- even those with poor digestive systems. Watermelon juice help to eliminate uric acid and dissolve accumulated deposits from a poor diet, making it ideal for those with arthritis, gout, and Uremic poisoning, which are all caused by an excess accumulation of uric acid. Watermelon juice flushes a lot of acid from the system and renews the blood. When this happens, the skin starts looking and feeling better! If you feel that watermelon juice is too sweet for you, you can dilute it with water!!"
I also heard about a rawfoodie who got a brain tumor and lived on watermelon juice for two months or so and healed himself.
I peel off the green rind with a sharp knife, then cube it, put it in the Vitamix with a bit of water to get it going, then liquify, strain with a paint strainer, and boy, that is the easiest juice yet, besides lemonade. Sugar? Well, I have heard that if this is ALL you have on one day, it is just a giant kidney and tissue flush, so a 1-2 pound loss is pretty much a regular thing. So it seems that sugar is not an issue. I did have the energy to take a 2 mile walk tonight. I only weigh once a week. In the hot summer, watermelon is so fine. 1 medium one makes 6 quarts of juice, so that is my entire day. If I want something else, I have it, but usually just a bit of bee pollen and maybe a T of coconut oil and I am perfect with a watermelon day.
A-H: read some of it, looks good. I am going to be practicing it all with a special project in mind. Now I am doing daily video-blogging and that is scary-good. Keeping it private so I can go deep and spit it! Just one minute videos. I can really see when I am out-of-alignment, in fear, etc. So a great mirror for change. Yay for those who take the red pill and choose to see the truth, take action, use the Divine Laws, and then decide to trade in all the misery for mega happiness!

Welcome to the Juice Feasting Japan group! Anyone is welcome to join. It is all about supporting each other in our quest to reacher or ultimate, highest selves. Whether you are in Japan or there at heart.
Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
