well, as you probably realise I've dropped off the wagon and am no longer juice feasting. Personal circumstances just made it nigh on impossible. Anyway, still raw and looking forward to an easier time when I can do the feast along with my husband.
How's your feast going? What kinds of results have you had?
xx
EFT was absolutely BRILLIANT!! I'm now a qualified practitioner and will definitely be setting up in practice. Fits in with all the quantum physics, raw nutrition at a cellular level, The Field, The Secret, "What the bleep..."; you name it!! I'm so excited about it. Shame about the feast but heh.it just wasn't the right time for me. Next time hubby is going to do it too so we can support each other.
Glad yours is going well. keep me posted on anything interesting that happens.
much love and go girl!!
your admirer (LOL!) Annelise xx
I'm so sorry you had to stop the feast. I hope your Mum is on the mend. It's great that you're doing the EFT course - I've been learning about it recently, and what little I've practised has really helped me. My feast is going mostly fabulous, with the odd struggle... you know how it is :) take care x
reading about the crying spells, its good to cry, Better Out Than In I always say...
Be gentle, on your sensitive self, and hubs who may not know what HE needs much less what you need...go deep, and stay light!

Hi Lou
I've had to abandon my feast - family circumstances, mum rushed to hospital etc. However still having lots of green juice and feeling great. lost more weight, which I really did not want to do so perhaps best that I stopped the Juice Feast. I will be doing it again as soon as things settle a bit. and Robin (hubbie) will join me. Probably after the big move.
I'm off on a three-day course in Emotional Freedom Technique tomorrow which I hope is going to further help me with the emotional stuff. Will let you know how it goes.
How's your feast treating you?
Sending you lots of loving support, hugs and rainbows

hey Annelise, long time no see. How are you doing? How's the move and the feast? And, dare I ask, your husband? I hope everything is going fabulously for you. love, lou x
It is lovely to hang out with other raw foodies isn't it? We all went to the Funky Raw Festival last year and loved it. I actually met three people from here and we've been meeting up regularly since.
Have a good time at the pot luck. I'm going to get over there eventually, when the evenings are a bit lighter. It's a long way from here and I don't fancy the drive on my own. I need sat nav. Wife wife, as my hubby calls it, isn't up to much, especially alone in the dark!
Are you going to be moving during the juice feast?
Thanks Christine
I do feel better for all that came up and out and am connecting with my husband again at a much better level. However, I have decided that I will be modifying my juice feast as and when I feel the need, which may include small amounts of salad on occasion. I know this will slow the whole process down for me but until we've moved house (from a huge, cluttered 5 bedroomed 3-storey to a rented 2 up 2 or, possibly, even a caravan on a piece of land). I think this is the best decision for me. I am not only detoxing on a physical level, but also on a spirtiual and psychological level, as we are decluttering completely to start again from scratch! I am also convinced that staying on the feast as much as possible will support me in this transition, even if the going gets tough!!
Are you going to Chris and Zoe's pot luck on Saturday? It's going to be strange being there juice feasting whilst everyone else tucks in but I love being with all the other raw foodists and cherish their support. Hope you are there as I can't wait to meet you.
love and light

Hi
Had a bit of a glitch at the w/e following some really mega strong emotional stuff ! I'm really struggling with all the old stuff it's bringing up and having huge rows with my husband. I feel like my relationship with him is cracking up as all the old shit between us (most unresolved) raises its head. I ate some avocado on my home made raw bread ! I guess I was comforting myself after I'd been crying solid for over two hours and not just sobbing but howling like a banshee! I got really dehydrated but am now back on the juices though so I guess I'm technically now a week behind everyone else! I'm really not sure if I can cope with three months at this intensity!
Annelise
I've had a couple of days when I've been a bit down emotionally. The old bowels seems to be working a bit better though.
I'm sleeping well but have to get up to have a wee a couple of times in the night, which is annoying. Must be all that liquid! I also seem to go through a bit of a dizzy period in the mornings too. Must be detoxing somthing. I've lost 5 lb so far. Plenty more to go though. (Could do with losing a couple of stone really.)
Gosh, you're getting brave with the garlic. I haven't tried anything like that yet. Got my CS today. I'm a bit confused. I know I'm not constipated yet still nothing coming out other than with the enema in the morning. Has my small intestine ground to a halt? I'm off to take some CS anyway and see what happens. This all feels like one big experiment and I feel like a guinea pig.
I'm getting used to the green juices too. Funny how your tastebuds change so quickly.
Going away must be challenging. Angela Stokes did quite a bit of travelling when she was juice feasting. Do you have her ebook? She has a few suggestions. Getting access to the hotel kitchen would be great if you can get it though. Good luck with that.
I've downloaded the EFT manual but haven't had time to read it all yet. I'm hoping that later on I'll need less sleep and I'll be able to do it then!! I thought about printing it, but the printer's running out of ink.
Did you see David and Katrina's day 4 video? They gave George Bush an enema. My kids had a good laugh at that!
Hiya
Coffee enema was fine and I was really brave today I did a garlic one!! Made me feel hungry though - I love garlic!
Like yourself I'm doing my juices as needed or I'd never get anything else done!
Got the CS today and have had a capsule but not sure if I need it either! However there is a long way to go yet and I think my colon will want to know where all the fibre's gone soon and start to play me up so I'm prepared!
I'm really liking the taste of the green juice now, albeit with some apples and carrots in the blend. I really feel positive about at least doing the whole month but may be challenged at the end of the month as going on a three day course at a hotel! I'vbe rung them and will be speaking to a chef to see what can be organised - even if it's just a space for me to juice my veg and fruit in the kitchens,
The emotional detoxing has started bringing up lots of old anger so I've started using EFT to combat it (that's what the course is on too). It definitely is making a difference.
Got to go now as hubby just home from a long shift and needs some TLC! And some lovely food I've made for him - lucky b*****d!
Hiya,
Thanks for the link to Baldwins. I've ordered some Cascara Sagrada too now. I've not had any BMs until today (day 5). Now I've got the runs! Maybe I won't need it after all. I noticed it says to wait for a few days on the supplement page anyway.
Know what you mean about the juicing. I have to get up so early to do the water, enema, shower thing. Then to make ALL the day's juice on top of that? I normally make them one at a time. Otherwise I'd never get round to feeding the children!
How'd you get on with the coffee? I haven't tried it yet. Being asked if I "fancy a coffee" will forever make me chuckle now!
Have you got cascara sagrada? if so, from where? I was expecting to be a bit loose in these first few days (as Angela's book suggests), but the opposite has happened!! Not something I've experienced for over twenty years and I really don't like the feeling! Any ideas? Gonna try a coffee enema tomorrow. Haven't had coffee for over six months so should be weird when the smell hits my taste buds! Don't know about you but I seem to spend all day juicing or trying to drink juice! lol!
xx
Hi Annelise,
I'm doing okay. I had a bit of a headache on day 1 but feel fine today (day 2). I do feel a bit hungry for solids, especially watching the family tucking into their food, so sympathise with you and your choccies! (Ooh the very thought...) I'm still making food for everyone else. Son 1 is taster so I don't have to. Know what you mean about all that juice. I've struggled and had to spread out my drinking a bit to cope. Most of my juice has been lovely. (I had watermelon at lunch time today.) I did make a disastrous one this evening though. I stuck some broccoli in. Bad idea. Had to hold my nose for that one.
Days one and two not been tooooooo bad, but I am feeling a bit bloated despite having done the enemas. going to try a coffee one tomorrow to see if that gets me going. i was expecting to be all runny but the opposite has happened - I guess my colon is used to lots of lovely fibre and doesn't like ebing deprived. Have you got the cascara sagrada? (apparently it stimulates the peristalsis of the colon) .If so, where did you get it as my local health food store/ herbalist doesn't stock it. I felt a bit weepy today but no other detoxing symptoms yet. was hard watching my husband tucking into a huge salad and some of our home-made raw choclate though. I don't think I've actually had the full 8 pints as I haven't been able to get it all down me, but I've started each day with a good grren juice, with all the trimmings! Hemp oil, spirulina, bee pollen, msm, etc. How about you?

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
