Hi Nancy,
If everyone follows the program most earnestly, certainly they will be better off than not doing anything at all. Thanks for being here. Integrating your fitness training with your Juice Feasting knowledge will be a boom for others. ~James

Good Morning,

You are Welcome ... glad I could provide some words to help.

Hope your courage remains by your side through this difficult Journey ... always keeping in mind no matter how tough it gets ... it does come to and end ... it just takes time.

Would be happy to send you a few handouts I use when I lead groups ...

Keep thinking positive thoughts and when the negative ones stream into your mind ... tell them to "Go away!"

Blessing to you my fellow Friend,

Ronnie

Hey Nancy,

Thanks for your interest regarding Divorce Recovery. It's become an unfortunate way of life. Helping people understand the emotional and practical side of divorce and thru this process is not easy and has become a passion for me.

I would like to discuss with you the possibilities and your desires to create a DR center in Cleveland. By the way I lived in Cleveland in the mid 80's/90's but have not been back in many moons.

If you would like to perhaps talk on the phone about this maybe early in the week let me know and I will tell you more then.

Blessings.

Ronnie

I just had the most amazing juice--it tasted like liquid sunshine! (which I am in desperate need of these days since it's so gloomy here in Ohio) Pineapple, Oranges, and Micro Greens! Yummmy! Can't wait to see how my workout goes later this morning! :)

LOL, I love the class. Just heat up the room you are doing it in. Where are you at? The class really changes you, in every way. I started sleeping better, FEELING BETTER, and people even commented that I looked better...happier and more confident. I can not explain why it just was. I have a funny story about it, one day I was driving and it was pouring rain. Now in Los Angeles no one can seem to drive in a light sprinkle much less a downfall so I normally do not like to drive in the rain but I was just out of Bikram yoga class and I found myself looking out and thinking "wow, this rain is so beautiful" then I caught myself and had a big hearty laugh at myself! because what I would normally think would have been something much, much different! I know people have these kind of changes doing a lot of different things (hiking, running, etc.) but for me It was Bikram Yoga. Hope you get a chance to check it out.

Hi Nancy,

Thank you for the nice comments:)

You can juice it! The first 2 days are the hardest
as you are changing a lifetime habit of eating.
Once you get to day 3 ....you have 0 appetite
and feel so incredible!
It also helps me to not drink only sweet juices as
the sugar makes you crave things....I always add
something green to balance the sugar. This will
stabalize your blood sugar which helps with food cravings. You can do it!

Much love to you,

Cynthia

Hi Nancy,
I'm doing great :) The P90X is going ok. Because of my husbands schedule and lack of space I haven't YET been able to complete a full week. So I do what I can. It's great fitness though. My juicing is another story. I finally statred 2 days ago. Unfortunately my husband keeps stealing my juice. Lol...he doesn't want to do the full Feast but yet he walks off with my juices. Well, at least he likes them. And maybe he will do the full thing;) How are you? How is your Feast going?

Hi Nancy, one step at a time. I agree with a more peaceful way of living in this world! I know it begins within, and what we are doing certainly helps. Remember one day at a time.... And stand behind the short wall (look but not get emotionally involved in others dramas).

Love and blessings to you

Hi Nancy,

Thank you for your inquiry. I started a diet to loose 10 pounds, to recover from junk food. I went on a diet my Mom often used - fruits and vegetables plus some carbohydrates/starches.

Three weeks later, the local librariian told me about the Seventh Day Adventist. She ordered their books for me to read. I remained a vegetarian for three years, then went raw after reading a Norman Walker juicing book and Survival into the 21st Century by Victor Kulvinskas. (Currently, I have three of the books that Gabriel Cousens has authored.)

Meanwhile, I felt so good that I decided to start exercising. I had been a severe asthmatic and my then doctor had advised me not to exercise - as he claimed that it caused me to have asthma attacks.....

Eventually, I got so strong that I decided to see if I could run longer distances. Amazingly for me, I started with a 12 mile run. Later, I worked up to a thirty mile run. I have always felt comfortable with 20 to 21 miles. After that, the running becomes work. So that is where I prefer to naturally stop a run.

Likewise, I have always enjoyed juicing - mostly vegies. For the past two years I have been making a green smoothie everyday. I seem to go for the parsley-papaya-blueberries-combination. Otherwise, I avoid fruit juices. I eat mostly green vegetables and sprouts with a bit of fat - flax seeds, sunseeds and almonds - used as a dressing.

I don;t use a dehydrator, as I question the idea of blow drying your food. To me, it seem that the process interferes with the electromagnetic energy fields of the raw/living foods.

Nancy,

just reading through your other comments, and I know exactly what your going through. I have been in the battle with these addictions now for almost 8 years and it has been a roller coaster.
What helped me is to have a clear understanding of how these addictions control us. It's no different, and I am serious, than a heroin addict. Pleomorphic organisms have set up shop in our guts and control us on mental emotional and physical levels.
David Jubb for me has the greatest understanding of how it all works.

Even though the 'official feast' begins on March 16th - are many, like you, going for it sooner. If so - I am ready to begin also! But I will miss my portabella mushrooms with guacamole and Namo Shoyu! ; )

Maybe getting all my favorite meals in first begin I start will get me ready.

Best wishes, Tina Marie

Okay...I'm done beating myself up. Moving on....reading about others' journeys is keeping me inspired. "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." Right!!?? :)

I am actually doing great. I can't believe it has been a week. It does take a solid hour to do the juicing and more trips to the grocery stores than I planned, but I am looking forward to feeling great! I am almost afraid to say this...but I haven't really had any detox symptoms. Some drainage and fogged ears for a day but nothing major. Don't beat up on yourself. For me I have to get my mind wrapped around something before I can "go for it". Maybe you just weren't ready. I have started new things many times and not followed through. But when I get really motivated....look out!!! Take a deep breath, look at what is best for you right now (maybe one quart of juice) and add on when you are ready. Chin up and look forward!!!

As usual, I started off okay and then reality set in, old habits took over and that was it. I couldn't even stick to the juice feast for even one whole day. I'm so tired of beating myself up. Why can't I find my way? I'm so tired.
