Sorry that a whole month has passed by and I didn't notice your comment. So are you now 1 month into the feast? I am on day 34 and am feeling wonderful!! I have a friend who isn't computer savvy..but she is right behind me on day 31. She will be 50 next month and said she hasn't felt this great since she was 25!! At first she was only going to go 30 days and re-evaluate..Now she has rounded that corner and is actually talking about going the whole 92 days!! I am so thrilled to have my best friend doing this with me. We are soo busy that we don't get to talk every day..but nonetheless it is really ENCOURAGING:) So it's nice to have this site too to be encouraged. Hope your feasting is going wonderfully!!
I am hanging in there on Day 43. I am still drinking 2-3 quarts of juice and either a salad or green smoothie. I seemed to have hit a plateau in my weightloss, but I am going to keep it up.
Ooh, your mouth was sore from juicing? Wow.. I am still hanging in there.I will complete 30 days this coming Sunday and then I am going to continue on a modified juice feast.I will still be juicing, but I will also incorporate at least 1-2 quarts of green smoothies into my diet. I went for my first colonic yesterday and it wasn't too bad. LOL
Making simpler juice is better I think. I ended up making a pear, apple, and parsely juice yesterday morning. I decided to elave the celery out. I made a Kale and orange juice this morning.
My favorite juice so far is spinach and pineapple juice. I have my MSM Lemonade down now (1 qrt water, 1 Tbs MSM, juice of a lemon, and stevia). I drink that 2x a day. I've been playing around with different green juice combos. Today, I am going to try parsley, pear, celery, apple juice. I tend to have green juice with fruit juice in the am and green juice with other veggies in the pm.
Well, I plan to be here for hte long haul. I am tinking of doing the whole 92 day juice feast. I will take it month by month. I will be here. What type juices have you been drinking? Are you taking supplements?
Thanks for the add, Cheryl. I am feeling great. I haven't had too many detox issues outside of some pimples here and there. I actually had more detox issues when I went raw 3 months ago (i.e., headaches, lethargy, etc). I feel very centered and at peace. I am on Day 17 and totally amazed that I am still hanging in there.....Stay juicy!
This is basically how I live all the time, only I often have some smoothies with fiber content and some steamed veggies or grains. I have gone over 3 months in the past and I made it 21 days a few years back on more or a juice fast than a juice feast but I did more juices per day than what would truly be a fast. I have found the whole thing to be more mental than physical. The mind thinks it needs to chew eventually for some reason. Plus, it is stinking cold here in MN, so warm, freshly made soups with all natural ingredients hit the spot on those days. I am along for the ride for this 30 days and if I do not kick a few nagging health things by the time he starts the 92 days JF, I will do that whole hog and see if that does the trick. God Bless, and Happy feasting.
Speaking of dental work. Have you tried Tooth Soap? It is amazing. I am convinced that all the American Dental has been recommending is just plain not working and often raw foodists have even worse dental issues and it is due to the fruit acids on their teeth all day long. Check it out at: www.toothsoap.com They even have a 2 for 1 sale going on. I think peppermint is the best flavor. You can also use peppermint Dr. Bronner's as well but the tooth soap shreds are kind of fun. Have a great day! God Bless.
Hi Cheryl. Looks like we are both about the same age and looking pretty dog gone good all things considered! I think the thing that amazes me most about the journey I have been on is that cleaning up your diet does a whole lot more than just cleaning up your diet: it cleans everything! Body, mind and spirit. I think a lot of people may fail to make the connections as they progress which is unfortunate. I totally delight in seeing the ancillary changes along the way. I have done a ton of Rolfing which is structural integration body work and it shows up in ALL areas of my life sometimes when I least expect it. Well, gotta run for now. Happy Juicing Always, God bless you, Kristine
Dear Johnny,
Have you thought about Dr. Gabriel Cousens at The Tree of Life in Patagonia, Arizona? I know that's not in Cal, but after going there they do phone consults as follow ups. Gabriel has written many books on Live and Whole Food Nutrition…

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
