Hi Butterfly!
thank you for your beautiful comments- YES I am raising Landon and Liam raw- not 100%, but high raw 80% with simle cooked meals of quinoa or millet or amaranth, chick peas or lentils, steamed artichokes- a fave of mine too with lemon and olive oil and raw garlic and sea salt- very beautiful, helathy, and simple meals- it works in our freezing cold climate...they also have other unmentionables when they are at Nanny's house I AM SURE...! But at home, they are on track.
Bless you Beauty xo

Hey Ho Holi!
I feast broke too, but not in such Dandy style, my flower queen! I had grapes, then mangoes and have been filling up on greens with heavenly gratitude ever since then. On reflection, it doesn't feel right to feast in these unpredictable times - its a big commitment, almost like a child, it has to be taken on with grace and open arms - not questioning day to day how I am going to feed it. I have noticed that the feaster that make it to the end are those that consume far more than 4l/day. Definitely makes sense with hindsight. Definitely to be continued.

Keeping on with 1-2l GVJ/ day - its what I need right now. And going laaarge on greens!

How are you feeling, my love?

Looking forward to chatting soon.

BIg Love to you!

xxP

I am so grateful to be sharing this adventure with you, it feels like a gift that you dropped in on me.

hi again, my journey if u can call it that is more like a bumpy life transition. I am relatively new to the whole raw thing and equally new to juicing. I am doing good though, I have meet some incredible people both on here and at my juicebar, and i notice my relationships with people is much more enjoyable. Maybe its because i have rediscovered the possiblities of life from an almost 10 year fog of mourning. I have juiced on and off and decided to do a 7 day vitratox colon clense before i attempt to jucie again. So starting tomorrow i am on a 7 day water fast to clean the colon, then i will commit to a long juice feast. It has taken me some time to learn some of the things i need to know to start this jucie feast so i am almost geared up. But just by eating better for a short period of time, (with gaps of eating bad) i noticed everthing feeling a bit better especially my frame of mind. I am grateful for the chance to meet such nice people and am really gonna get on with the jucie and raw life. I think it can change my life. I hope your doing well, u seem nice stay in touch

Hey Love!
So fantastic talking to you! I mistyped your number and now it is getting late, I want to get some kip to wake up and get a head start on the Feast tomorrow. Do you mind if we catch up tomorrow or another night? Call me or send me a message if you have anything else you would like to speak to me about. Otherwise I am going to do me an enema and get some sweet sleep!

BTW, have you got mason jars? These are invaluable tools. I get my 1 quart jars from the supermarket, I get the largest pickles jar I can find for a quid, empty them out and hey presto, there's the jar you will be drinking out of for the rest of your life! Proper glassware goes right out of the window on a juice feast, and even afterwards! I would have about three of these, so that if ever you go out for the day you have 3l juice to keep you sane.

Love, love talking to you - I feel like its a blessing that we have managed to hooked up through the ning. We seem to be tuned into a similar wavelength, I have been wishing for a long time to share with wonderful likeminded souls. Thank you! Looking forward to seeing what this juice feast brings forward.

Lots and Lots of Love,

Poppy x

Ps. Did I mention how excited I am, like an astronaut about to fly on a spaceship into outer space - I am sure this feeling equates that! I love the prospect of a quest into the self and what it may bring! Love!!

Hi Holi!

Thanks for the sweet love note! We are so happy you are juicing with us, and hope that all things are well in your part of the world.

We would love to be juicing wild greens, but here in Arizona, not much is up and ready at this time of year. SOON!!

Hugs,

Katrina and David

Congrats Holi!! Yes, I know the first days of JFIng are scary, you think "holy shit all that produce and I have only made 2l of juice"! But with organisation and buying in bulk, it becomes a lot cheaper and easier! I would recommend getting in lots of cukes, carrot, and celery cos they are cheap and yield lots of juice, oranges, pineapples and grapefruits are great too for juiciness.

I am so jealous about you running off to warmer climes. It is something I dream of doing, but I dont have the luxury to be so spontaneous right now! But right on, if you can do it, it might certainly make JFing a whole lot easirer! We can still JF together from two sides of the globe. Imagine you sipping on freshy picked coconuts under the warm glare of the sun while I drink the juice of local apples and cabbages in cold Blighty! ;)

MSM, I know everyone raves about it, it didn't seem to do much for me from my experience! Hemp oil and psyllium husks are more my drugs of choice. Also heard that Colon Drawing Formula worked magic too and I might buy in this time from the States. For MSM, enema bags and whatever supplements you need the nutricentre:http://www.nutricentre.com delivers generally within three days.

I am going to start properly on Monday, that ay I have the weekend to get myself organised - also I have tastings this weekend at the new raw food restaurant where I am working so I would like to stay solid for that!

Raw cacao sesh on Tuesday was quite lovely, inspiring and beautiful peeps and a whole lot of love. Cacao taken alone is quite a diff experience to it being consumed in a group! I definitely see why raw foodies supplement it for recreational drugs. Suki (http://qito.wordpress.com/) should have the videos up on You Tube pretty soon. I must warn you though, I had an allergic reaction to Carob that night and my face swelled up like a hampster!!

Keep me informed as to when you want to start offically. It would be great to have a partner for support. I could jump on it sooner if you are ready to go for it now! Let me know!!

xx Poppy

Hey-ho Holi!
Thinking of jumping back on the JFing wagon! When are you going ahead with yours. Wanna go for it together? No pressure - I know its a very personal journey. Talking to you the other night was lovely - I realise how much I miss feasting though as a result.
Lots of Juicy Love!

Hi Holi,
Thank you for connecting with me... I have this impression of your soul being as pure as snow... I do not know where that came from but I trust it ...
Anyway about my juice feasting - I have been trapped in a raw-cooked-juice feasting whirlwind for few days and it does not feel good at all. So today is my first day of a new juice feast!
Isn't that great - every morning we wake up and have the opportunity to be our most positive, vibrant and beautiful self, if we only choose the allow some magic flow in ...
How is your raw food journey going?
Love,
Sonya

Sweetest Holi,

Lovely comment! Thankyou for your kind offer, it does sound very tempting. I feel a wonderful friendship blossoming already! ;)

Snow was divine this morning, I can only imagine how beautiful it must have been in the Lakes!! Raised veggie, org, homeopathic - wow, you lucky thing, you probably dont have to deal with all the cellular cleansing to the same extent that I do, still eliminating all the medicines and animal products from my infancy - never stops!!

Yes, with the greatest of pleasure, call me whenever you want, or text me and I will send you my home number. I hope I can be of help with the college decisions...

Happy Easter!!

Love,

Poppy xx

Hello Holi!!

Thankyou for your kind words -Its a pleasure to know you! I really like your profile.

I have lived in London for the majority of my 23 years, and a little bit in Paris. I studied art here but I did not enjoy the 'pretentiousness' of the whole London scene. But there are many advantages to living here also, and you will know what is right for you. I don't see indecisiveness as a barrier, I see it as a wonderful enhusiasm to appreciate fully and equally all the gifts that life throws in your direction. Have you ever noticed, the more indecisive you are, the more opportunies life just continues to throw at ya. There's a lot of humour in that! I stopped splitting hairs recently about making the right choice, too many other things to think about! I just follow the one that I 'feel' the most, then give all my heart to it, there can't be regrets because there will always be infinitely more opportunities arising, there is no end to that.

If ever you want to come here to get a feel for London for a few days, you are welcome to stay with me! 07940 515 765

Personally I don't intend to spend my whole life in London as my whole being yearns for air, space and a beautiful natural plot of land. I would love to live in the Lake District, that sounds incredible! What is the 'alternative' community like there? And what will you be studying in the future? I shall be studying Natural Nutrition next year :0!!

Juiciness and Love,

Poppy x

My juicy journey officially ended on day 59, two weeks go, but the adventure never ends!!! It has been one of the most intense and revealing periods of my life. I am still half juicing, half eating and going with the flooo! How is yours going?

Lots of love,

Poppy x
