Hi! I am not currently juice feasting, but keep toying with the idea. I do drink a lot of green juice everyday, but haven't made the big leap yet! What about you?
Hi Hopewithfaith,
So do you live near Birmingham? You can make videos, too! It's fun. I don't know the sign you speak of downtown, but I will keep it in mind and will come across it when the time is just right.
Best,
Audry
Sorry for the delay in replying. I've been in the middle of a family crisis - during which time I didn't follow my eating plan very well.... old eating disordered eating patterns.
Yesterday was my first day on my 3rd attempt at juice feasting. My goal is to juice feast until June 1st, at which point I will re-evaluate.
Hello HWF:
Well, the losing weight question, Yes and NO. No matter what I am making sure that I get 2 quarts of green juice in each day. When I am eating a lowfat raw or vegan supper, yes I lose weight. I have been giving in to some old emotional eating patterns from time to time. On those occasions the weight loss is slower. I do feel good, infact I feel great. My eyes are clearer, my thoughts and emotions are clearer and my skin looks much better. I have more energy and a better attitude in general on a Modified JF. I do think that I still went through a detox phase where I felt worse before I felt better. I am going to totally go on juices very soon, maybe for the last 30 days. Also, I thought I should add, I really look forward to preparing my juice now. There is something so meditative about it. Have fun trout fishing! I've lived many places and SW VA is my Fav by far. Happy Juicing!!!
I havn't got msm yet, but my zeolite powder came yesterday, it felt really exciting! It's like fine clay. There is a really good article on www.zeohealth.com/LIQUIDZEOLITE response.pdf
It convinced me to get the powder as opposed to the liquid.
The msm company have not got back to me yet, despite lots of e mails!
If I was in the U.S i would get msm from sunfood nutrition, David Wolfes shop. It's $24.95. It's a lot cheaper than over here. All these juice bars sound great, there's nothing like that here. There is in the cities in England, but not even in the cities in Scotland, not even vegan restaurants! Anyway, the zeolite is from seventh wave supplements, the manufacturer is zeohealth. Most powdered zeolite is from them I think, they say they have the only mine(?? Oh Dear??), that mines specifically for human consumption.
Do you want a zapper too?
It all makes sense but could be very paranoia making?I would like to see some pictures of the little critters too.
Hope you are in good spirits, have a good Saturday,

Hey,
Things are well.
Recently emotions have been rocky and food has a lot to do with it!
I am soon off to Thailand though, and am to begin the juice feast there, in May. Aahhh It shall be grand. Filled with tropical excitement!
How are things going with you? How many days are you into the juice feast now? Hope all is flowing and detox is bearable! I know how painful it can be!
The juicing is a bit of a struggle, changing old habits always is. But I am moving forward. As to the green thumb - I do believe I have developed one. I started my gardening project a little over two years ago, and have basically turned my entire yard into a park. If you like flower pictures, feel free to check out my garden blog: http://www.rosegardenrambler.blogspot.com
I love your handle - hopewithfaith. What is your name? I'm sure it's on the site, but I haven't found it yet

Hi
Thanks for the "friend request". I think we all need friends to help us in this juice feasting journey!
I just had a marathon juicing session - 4 quarts of apple-orange-greens, and 6 quarts of a savory blend of root vegetables and greens. A lot of the greens came right out of my garden. Next year I want to have a lot of different types of greens planted in the garden. Right now I just have chard and parsley. This summer I'm going to work at getting more beds ready for veggies.
I have 6 tomato plants beginning to produce, but on this juice feast, I think I could use about 20!
I thought rebounding would be easy, but the first day I could hardly do a minute! Using some muscles I forgot I had!
The great thing about it is that with some music blasting it is actually fun, and you can invent all kinds of different moves on it.
Because it is not an hour long, I'm more likely to do it, or give a few jumps on my way somewhere.
I am building up endurance, and...its a great place to practice Kegels too!!!
Hi
I read one of your posts on Lisa's site - and you sounded kind of discouraged. Listen - I just want to tell you it's not about perfection. EVERY step you take towards a healthier lifestyle moves you forward!
I have not been perfect by any means - and you can read some about my struggle on my blog if you'd like, at http://www.rawseniors.blogspot.com
Looks like some of you guys have your blog streaming into this site. I'll have to try and figure out how to do that.
It sounds like you are making some wonderful progress in your journey. That is what is most important. We all have to find our way and you are doing that. Congratulations. I wish you well. Thank you for the kind words regarding my feast.
I've been having a battle of the foods for a couple of days, but trying to just get myself back to balance and not too extreme like usual!
Planning my escape from England soon - hopefully Thailand - where I will begin a juice feast with proper organization!
Hi,
Thanks for the link. It is all very interesting...would be intrigued to try one. Have you tried one?
I'm more interested in feeling out the nutrients...don't like the idea of always relying on a machine. But the site houses a mass of wonderful info!
Dear one,
Congrats on your progress...how are your energy levels?
I hope you are managing to release a lot of old emotion/material.
I broke feast already. At the moment it doesn't feel right. I am also in a temporary place and am not working. I want to go into it with commitment and preparation, and know where I am coming from. Once I choose my next destination, I will reassess the situation. If I choose to go back to Thailand to study - that will be the perfect place. :)
For now I am focusing on balance. My life has been seemingly full of extremities, especially in terms of eating. Doing the juice feast without enough juice only lead to further unbalance.
I am still on the mission of health along side you though..sail onwards! Keep strong and continue the clean!

Welcome to the Juice Feasting Japan group! Anyone is welcome to join. It is all about supporting each other in our quest to reacher or ultimate, highest selves. Whether you are in Japan or there at heart.
Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.
