Hello! Hope you and the family are well!
Do you have an email address?
Anyhow Danielle said you might be interested in having a chat about a cafe or something?
I didn't go for that cafe in the end as I didn't like the landladys attitude. She thought I wouldn't be reliable because of my age.
Well I am definetly up for a chat or a brainstorm!
Hope you are well,
Speak soon,
Lots of love xxxx
70 days is amazing. Well done. I look forward to your prune video!
I did 54 days in the end. Since ending my juice feast I have also found my tastes in food have changed. Some things that I ate before don't agree so much now either. I can't eat many nuts and seeds or I feel really bunged up!
The changes that I started to feel emotionally seem to have carried on. I think the rest of my life is trying to catch up, which is a bit challenging at times.
I can't wait to juice feast again. I'm thinking about doing a bit in the autumn. Maybe just a month. Then there's the GJF again next year of course.
I still have some weight to lose. I did lose 16 lb and have put a couple back on now. Could do with losing another stone probably. I weigh about 10 stone 3lb now. I haven't been this thin since before I had kids, which is nice. I'm not used to it though. There's definitely an emotional element to my weight - like Karen K was mentioning a while back.
I hope to see you sometime too. I'm planning to go to the David Wolfe talk in London in October. (Big deal for me, going to London on my own.) Maybe we'll JF together again too.
I ended up completing my juice feast at 70 days and I did a 'prune' video which I have been meaning to post and just finish off with. I need to work out how to do it!
So day 70 for me was on 4th May and time has just flown by. I was quite strict about the feast breaking protocol and found my body adjusted to eating solid food well. I also found my food tastes changed quite radically for example I love love nori now and I hated it before and I also love those raw olives you can get from Sunfood and I really disliked them before -am finding it hard not to overeat on them!!
Anyway I finally decided to end my feast based partly on the fact that I had reached a point of thinness that I wasn't comfortable with (it was funny how it crept up on me. I was feeling too good I think although my energy was starting to lower) and although I found out that I was consistently probably not getting quite enough calories in my juices and could have changed that it just felt like the right time to finish. Bank holiday weekend, weather getting warmer and greens not storing so well in my garage etc etc.
I found just living off juice very liberating in certain ways and feel I have had a really deep cleanse whilst also being able to look after my family. I notice I feel much more flexible now, got rid of a verruca and gained a real feeling of energy and aliveness. I also learned for me that cleansing isn't just a one hit wonder but seems to take you up the next few rungs of a ladder and in ways other than just the physical.
I feel really drawn to getting out in nature and planting and learning about wild edibles which I have thought about in the past but am putting much more into action now.
So life is great and I am now really good at making juices - something I had done very little of before so I also have a new life skill and something I will definitely use again.
Many thanks to David and Katrina for this wonderful gift to the world. They and all the information they have so diligently researched have been truly inspirational.
Also it has been really good to be able to read all the juice feasting stories and some of the wonderful blogs people manage to keep.
How is it going? Are you still juice feasting? I read your discussion on "What is Too Thin". Did you carry on?
I have been back to normal food for a while now and found it really strange at first. Some of the food I ate before doesn't feel so great now. I've definitely become more sensitive.
hello!
mmmmm, going thru a bit of a process with the whole no smoking thing. Did 3 days, hardly slept at all, and then i smoked again after getting really emotional with Jon and going thru that again!!! Now I'm not again, and will have to be more vigilant. Been juicing and eating, doing lots of physical work, and getting really bored with being outside in work clothes, boots gloves, in rain and mud and.........need a wee, come in, drink, wee, go out, need to come in again.....aaahhh!
Don't know where I'm at really. Saw Helen Petrou today and am all covered in pills to treat my lungs, colon, heart, liver.........Bit sad I'm not at the parasite cleansing stage, but I will probably do it after i have moved.
Possibly rather.... Will give you a ring soon,
Hope your doing well, would like to see a new photo,
love and hugs, Caroline.xxxx
Oh yeah, when i stopped smoking, i ate one lunch time, followed by a big kale drink and for a few days my stomach really churned at green juice of any kind, as soon as it went thru the juicer I was feeling really sick, thought I'd never like them again, so had pineapple and orange only.
Am recovered now!
Talk soon, love to you.xx
Thanks for the Parastroy info Bernice. The funny thing is, this is the parasite cleanse they recommend on juicefeasting.com. (Or did until they found a replacement that I haven't been able to source here.) I'm a bit surprised about that. I just ordered the stuff yesterday too. I wonder what David and Katrina think of this?
Hiya my lovely!
hope this finds you well! How are you doing/feeling?
I have to say, you were glowing the other night at the party! I can definetly see a spiritual change in you! Your aura was aglow!
Keep up the good work and I hope to see you again soon for more feasty chats!
lots of lovexxx
All I can say is that the parasite cleanse did something really cool for me. I never saw any creepie crawlies come out but after that initial weird phase you referred to, I started having "normal people" bowel movements pretty much everyday... sometimes more than once a day. It seemed to have regulated my system or something. I had no idea where this stuff was coming from (another dimension perhaps?) but I didn't question it. :)
I hope that somehow answers your question... let me know if you have any more! :)
Here's where I got my breakstone tea from.

Nice to hear you're doing so well. You're a few days ahead of me and it's good to know you got through that tricky stuff too. It's funny how we all seem to be going through similar experiences at the same stage, isn't it?
I am finding my kids are a focus for a lot of my insights into myself. I think they automatically bring up a lot of your old stuff from your childhood. Something like that anyway. I guess we should be grateful we have them to help us in this way. I've started to appreciate them a lot more in the last couple of days. I sometimes used to resent being stuck at home with them such a lot of the time. Like you said, it makes it hard to get your own way, doesn't it. Now I feel quite different towards them.
Hiya! Danielle said you were on here, so I thought I would look you up! Hows the juicing going? It is something I have wanted to do for a while. I think I am going to start by adding a green drink to my usual diet to start with as I don't think I can deal with detox side affects while working!
What juicer would you recomend? I am now in the process of looking for one and hopefully will be able to buy it when i next get paid! Yay!
Hope you are well!
Lots of love,
Kayleigh xxxx
hiya! first thing i saw when i found out i could get wireless access was you! wanted to write you a note and surprise you.
i really thought i had given up but then when i remember how easy it was and how good i felt, and compare that to how i feel now, no comparison really.
i dont think i put much weight back on in the last 2 weeks, and i like being thin, but i am not just thin i am a bit like a let down balloon. i need to sort out excercise this time, to fill up, that feels a bit daunting, like where to fit it in timewise, hello! this is great.lots of love ,Carolinexxxxxxx
Hi Bernice,
I thought I recognised you. It was you talking about juicefeasting in December that got me interested in this. Thanks for that!
It's great that your hubby has been juicing too. How has he found it? Mine humours me and is supportive, but he thinks the enemas are a bit weird. You never know though. Maybe next year...
My juices are a bit repetitive too. I made a couple of real horrors at the beginning and so when I find a goodie I tend to stick with it. Fruit juice is easy to be adventurous with. It's the greens. If I stick too much kale or brocolli in, it really is horrid!
I know what you mean about getting up early and the whole routine taking over. Do you make all your juices in one go? I normally make mine one at a time, though I went out for the day on Satuday and had to do the lot first thing. I was surprised that I managed 4L in less than an hour. I am only doing enemas every other day now. That way I can catch up on a bit of sleep. Getting up early realy takes it out of me too.
Happy juicing, and keep in touch. This site is great. Everyone is so supportive and I'm so glad I'm here.

Not feeling called to do a full Juice Feast? That's ok, neither am I.
David Rain suggested I do a Modified Juice Feast based on certain aspects of my health and life.
You don't have to follow any particular plan to do a Modified Juice Feast.
This group wants to assist and support each other by exchanging ideas on what tools we can use to realize
each of our goals especially the ones that worked for us personally.

I wish I'd checked the ingredients before I bought the stuff. I just trusted it was okay as they'd used it before. Kicking myself now.
